I've been Hidden Cyclone's biggest fan for a long time but he's surely up against it tomorrow

Shark's horses are just about continuously out of form in any case

i am , i think ruby light will be very hard to beat after his brilliant run against s.e. last day at leop ... hidden cyclone is a course winner so has proven course form ... i think both the novice races are crackers , worth going to see....

Really think Tofino Bay is banker material given his Troytown form. Thousand Stars should really be winning his race & heard good reports regarding Meade's in the bumper.

cant have buckers bridge , i think its last couple of races have bottomed him out , he was lucky to beat sword of des , and was out on its feet crossing the line , then it had another hard race at fairyhouse so not for me tomorrow ....that's leaves twinlight and dedigout to fight it out ..twinlight is a smashing little horse , but i think the fences at navan just might find him out , he puts his head down and trys for all his worth , but i'm taking a chance on dedigout, he's been running against top class horses , i think he just might have the pace to stay with twinline and take him after the last ...tofino bay in the 3ml novice will gallop them into the ground ..finally one  of mullins i do like is , perfect gentleman , named after myself no doubt....Laugh....i think its his right trip and navan will suit him....good luck all punters....

Interesting card but seems there are four near certainties running today.
City Slicker
Rubi Light
Thousand Stars
Tofino Bay

Racing has been uncompetitive here for a while,we keep getting four horse races and the main culprit is the handicapper.
He doesn't review races he just handicaps by ratings, this has made being placed in maiden hurdles or novice chases a disaster, the trick is get yourself well in and when you start your winning run the handicapper can't adjust because he doesn't look at the races. He gives an easy winner seven pound but if a horse runs anyway well in a maiden hurdle he ups them fourteen pound so the moral of the story is the non tries are rewarded and the triers punished.

it has me debating if i should stay here listening to leonard cohen or make the journey ....leonard is winning atm....its such a wonderful race track i hate missing any meeting there ....but as you say some very uncompetitive racing today , i will decide shortly...

Stuck few quid on Dedigout at 9-4. Was expecting great things from this lad this year. Mainly disappointing so far, but in receipt of 6lbs, he really ought to be winning this.

What a wonderful round of jumping from Twinlight. Real exhibition stuff. Hope they wait till Fairyhouse or Punchestown with this one. Will be better suited jumping right handed tracks i would imagine. Hell of a race.

Bad ground and bad selections on my behalf, thought my luck was in when I swerved the first three but using the insane theory that they all can't get beat I lumped on Tofino Bay and compounded this error by laying Made In Germany in the bumper.

At least someone will be happy.

a bad day all round , i had just backed perfect gentleman , and was receiving my ticket , the guy right behind me said can i have £1,300 to £800...i looked behind me and lo and behold it was one of willies punters ..i knew my money was dead....lots of talk about rubys riding today ..some not best pleased ...dedigout well punted , never really in the race ....i left after this race ....

Couldnt say he was a non gigger by any means, Patrick did his usual thing cruise along for as far as he can then push like hell.Usually works well enough to be fair. Looks a fine horse but probably a slow boat. The ones that remain in Jackies colours are often like that. No problem selling on the top ones but these seem to be often second tier operators and harder to shift. Patrick rides these more often than Ruby which is also slightly against them. Having said all that you are spot on WR when you say he never looked like winning today.
