3rd meeting of these 2 teams in 6 years with cross winning the last 2 games by the 3 point margin 1-11 to 0=11 and 2-11 to 1-11...........cross if anything have got stronger and more youthful over the 6 years so will have a bet on cross minus 2 pts @4/5 and the handicap draw (-3) at 17/2 and jamie clarke ove r 2.5pts 8/11

y kavvie?the best club team in the history of the gane.....
Report kavvie February 16, 2013 3:41 PM GMT
they play on the edge of legality,i dont like northern teams as a rule.weak refs have helped them over the years.
Report Rocketfingers February 16, 2013 3:41 PM GMT
Don't like Cross either, stories i've heard, no thanks.
Report Rocketfingers February 16, 2013 3:43 PM GMT
Same as Kavvie and richters bet them today so that was another reason Laugh
Report richters February 16, 2013 3:54 PM GMT
kavvie that says it all about you really......weak refs have helped them over the years........do you realise how that sounds coming from an offaly man....lol.....you idiot........good oul seamus derby.......that referee still gets his free dinner every time he goes thru toomevara.....ffs kavvie catch a grip of yourself........
Report kavvie February 16, 2013 6:08 PM GMT
the truth hurts richters.seamus darby never touched tommy doyle..!!
Report richters February 16, 2013 6:44 PM GMT
no kavvie the truth is Down, donegal,Derry,Tyrone, armagh all winning all ireland titles has obviously hurt you.......you are the biggest ham on here........soft refereeing......ffs.......even in 1994 the ref handed offaly hurlers 2 or 3 soft frees in the closing stages.....you remind me of 1 of them characters from the rte show pure mule....you remember the show when they portrayed the soft offaly lads from shannonbridge or sumwer.......
Report kavvie February 16, 2013 6:52 PM GMT
richters i dont take u seriously..im winding you up.very succesfully!!.as a matter of fact even if offaly were awarded say 3 soft frees(wasnt the case)in 1994 v limerick it wouldnt have changed the result?what people fail to remember is that offaly won it very easily in the end by 6 points....tyrone won all irelands fairly?..im sure the gooch wouldnt agree with you on that one after he nearly got blinded by fingers into his eyes..and typically at the dinner that eve live on rte there was a joke made of it..classy!!
Report richters February 16, 2013 7:17 PM GMT
kavvie if anything in the early 90s ulster teams suffered from free state refereeing bias.......who can forget the 94 final when tommy howard awarded dublin a dubious penalt under the hill 16....thankfully neil collins saved it......dublin were also awarded penalties in finals against donegal in 92 and tyrone in 95....which all were missed.......in fairness kavvie i worked in birr/clareen a long time and civiler people ye cudnt meet even if they did cheat to win an all ireland.......lol.......
Report kavvie February 16, 2013 7:55 PM GMT
offaly got more ridings off refs over the years than any county..late seventys the pro dublin bias was unreal.and the hurlers were rode many times by refs when playing kilkenny..there was a laois man one time who reffed games involving offaly and kilkenny 70 and 80s and he was worth 5 points to kk..im sure many offaly people who read this know exactly who im taking about..
Report richters February 16, 2013 7:59 PM GMT
kavvie i was workin in roscrea bot 2 year ago after kk beat tipp late to win the all ireland with 2 or 3 controversial decisions.....the craic in roscrea was that the ref had an anti tipp bias and liked a wee bet....i think he was an offaly man....would i be correct in any of the above......
Report kavvie February 16, 2013 8:10 PM GMT
we want to be careful of a meeting with the lads with the wigs ..unreal..if it was ever known what went on the whole thing would explode..

Oisin McConville substituted after 20 mins, the end of an era. McConville was the genius behind all the Crossmaglen and Armagh success.

Ballymun in the other match reminded me a lot of Donegal with their pace counter attacking, was suprised thought crokes would have had too much firepower up front but ballymuns defending in numbers proved too much...Crokes keeper could have made more of an effort for forhams goal albeit a good shot whilst ballymuns keeper saved the penalty well....brigids deserve an all ireland after all the years but they will find it hard to beat this ballymun outfit.
PS A right hard looking crew the Ballymun team and supporters celebrating after anyways best of luck to them as i File away my Crokes outright All Ireland bet!
