Christian Ronoldo - yeah hes bloody useless
i said i would post this before the champs league game tonite where ronoldo - one of the greatest players of last 20 years will tear UTD apart and dunphy and giles will squirm in their chairs
and dont forget giles did say and i quote "rooney is the best player since pele"...........honesty of effort is everything

Tbf BDJ it was Dunphy makig those daft claims or at least most of them. I don't remember Giles saying that but i would listen to anything Giles says quicker than Dunphy, the guy was probably the Republic's best ever player. Hard as nails but could play.

dunphy has backtracked on ronoldo, but the 5 or so years we had to listen him saying how crap he was is hilarious...........i would say giles is a bigger culprit in not giving creative players the credit they deserve.............and im talking about creative players who also win things............giles wants everyone to clear balls off the line and run around at a hundred miles an hour..........."honesty of effort is everything"..........i used to like these two but in last few years they are a real pain.......

Could not agree with you there, Giles has torn into Trap's team for having no creativity, for playing two holding players, he might not know everyone's oname but i would listen to him a hell of a lot quicker than the vast majoiy of sports writers employed in the mdeia today. No matter how good a footballer you are if you don't make the effort no point in playing. I don't think you realise how good a player Giles was, he deserves more respect than the younger/sky/everybody must like Barce or else they're rubbish generation give him.

I would be fairly certain Giles never rated Dunphy ie "dunphy the anything for a bit of publicity/me feiner"

If every game panned out the way Giles and Dunphy want it, no player would ever make a mistake and no keeper need ever make a save, every game should've been a 0-0 draw.
