Just after doing a trixie for the interest and hoping for a good run,1st selection is tiger woods my sporting hero to kick the golf season off to a run in dubai this week 7/1,2nd selection is kingbarns for the epsom derby looks like obrien going the same route as he did with camelot at 4/1,last selection is dawn approach in the 2000 guinness 7/2,i know that maybe the 2 might clash in the 2000 guinness but my view is dawn approach is more a mile than kingbarns. If tiger can do the business this week il have a great interst building up to the new flat season and a bit of luck they make the guinness and derby.
You don't want my views on betting accums and trixie's especially this far out huddys, i don't want to insult you. But best of luck and i mean it but bets like these, well their is a reason bookmakers love them.

Maybe the books do like them, still for a what can be a relatively little outlay you have a chance of a right good win. Think Tiger is on the wain myself, also hasn,t played for a couple of months countering that he did finish 3rd last year here.Still be surprised if he doesn,t show up there. Horses were the best two 2yo's, if they train on certainly will be there, nearly would prefer myself to do nh for Cheltenham(Diakali for the triumph would be one i,d have put in on the basis Mullins was emphatic in an interview) Probably would have done a place treble as well to show a slight profit if all placed.GL with it.

wildman may i ask you why you dont think dawn approach will train on please?..is it something in the breeding?..or the stats..im really looking forward to see how the horse gets on so im interested why you say it may not train on?

I saw him at the Curragh and he looked the precocious type,he also ran in the first two year old race of the season whilst I accept Jim Bolger is a genius would be almost unheard of for such a horse to win classics.Because he was from the first crop of New Approach Bolger knew the Sheikh would be interested and was trained specifically for an arduous two year old campaign with the for sale sign on him,in other words they ran the life out of him last year.

thanks ...fair point..when you think it was the first 2yr old race he ran in, your view has some merit..but he did look exceptional?..but i take your point thankyou..

"Ran the life out of him". This point would carry a lot more traction if running a 2-yr-old multiple times was out of pattern for Jim Bolger. It isn't. New Approach and Teofilo both had five races at 2, Intense Focus ran 9 times. Parish Hall, same as Dawn Approach, had 6 races as a 2 year old. I've no idea whether Dawn Approach will train on this year, but the kind of nonsense written above wouldn't put me off

I think Gentlemanjohn inadvertently makes my point,he mentions four other two year olds trained by Jim Bolger and three of them definitely didn't train on.Neither Parish Hall or Teofilo ever ran again and Intense Focus only ran twice without winning, all three were over raced at two.

gentlemanjohn..wildmans view does not put me off but i take his point and its a fair one when looking at the others who didnt train on?..but my point is none were as good as this fella?

I'm not making any point for you inadvertently or otherwise. Using the fact that neither Teofilo nor Parish Hall ever saw a racecourse again as evidence that neither trained on is pretty lame stuff. Teofilo suffered an injury while working, Parish Hall a leg infection, just the luck of racing, you can't claim that's connected to what they did as 2-year-olds if you want to retain any credibility.
You could be right about Dawn Approach not training on, but claiming that Bolger ran the horse into the ground supposedly in order to snare an obviously gullible Sheikh Mohammed into a sale is pure unmitigated garbage...barely worth a second reply, and certainly not a third

Sorry tony, "i think your wrong" just didn't cut it for me there, if you deem that uncivil I guess there's a lot of threads on this cesspit of a forum you havent opened recently. But point taken and good luck with the bet

Why so angry I looked at Teofilo the three times he ran at the Curragk and he was a big horse and looked to me like one that wouldn't train on,I was dubious about the injury claims then and still am,Parish Hall was a horse I never rated I thought his Dewhurst win was a fluke but the leg infection cleared up but they never raced him again because he also hadn't trained on.
