went on a day trip gold cup 2007.
brother won a competition.
was a great day probably cos we backed a few winners but was wrecked after it. a long day.
went with tullys before for the festival. it was 3 days at the time. stayed in stratford. costly enough.

i reckon you'll save money going your own way but if you know a few lads on the coach i suppose it would be enjoyable.
went on a coach to november festival once.
had a right time without the crowds and madness of the main festival.

It's probably too far back but all my friends used to go by coach with a Carlow firm Tully Travel and they swore by them, more than likely long since gone.

tullys are still running the coach trips lads. they send me the brochure every year even though its amost 20 years since ive been at the festival and i didnt use them then either just enquired. Prices are pretty high imo and you would save at least 50% doing your own thing

I done two coach trips, if you want to save money do your own thing, but some of those coach trips were some of the best times of my life, Coventry and Birmigham, done my own thing it wasn't quite the same, probably saved money, but if you want to meet real friends the coach trip is the one workrider.
