A great layer was Seamo. He always took my bets on credit and we fixed up at the end of the day.
I had heard he hadn't been well. He hadn't been on the race tracks for some time. The Curragh and Leopardstown were the last tracks I think he attended.(2011) Doubling up with the dogs was not easy and with so many twilight meetings I think the dogs took preference towards the end. RIP |

very sad news indeed premier , a truly lovely man , i often had bets with him over the years as you know , he paid with a smile , probably the last of the old school ..r.i.p....

He had a bit of Gravitas about him I remember him mainly at the Curragh don't think he worked the southern meetings,seemed to me more a dog bookmaker than a horse one.

Rest in peace always liked having a bet with him,was only saying to my friend at leopardstown on the last day his pitch wasnt there,lived in the same area as Seamus and use to see him driving around in the old merc.
