not much precipitation here in tramore today and tmrwo is fairly dry too, should be ok.
|
|
By:
strong winds up here , so if we get no more rain we should be fine ..hth....
|
|

you must know me has the recent form , it appears that way anyhow , we are taking it that boston was top class last year and has converted that form to chases , i thought it was workmanlike rather than spectacular , vesper has been running in some top hurdle races culminating in a fine second at the festival ...on hurdle form alone hes much the better of the two ,i think willie knows were he stands with his fellow , and after a very easy introduction at thurles i think this will find the improvement to win....good racing ...i wish all on here a very healthy and prosperous new year....

PUNCHESTOWN & TRAMORE go ahead.
The tracks faced inspections on Monday morning, but officials were satisfied with conditions. The going is heavy at both courses, |

Vesper Bell in the first at Punchestown the one bet for me today. Beaten by a decent horse at Thurles without getting a hard race and the 3rd that day Canaly since won a good novice at Fairyhouse . You Must Know Me had a very hard race at Navan only 2 weeks ago and though he won I dont think Boston Bob was not up to much that day,we'll find out today.

solwhit looked a little big in the paddock but ran a cracker , i'd say they'll be hoping he's still well come morning , then they can have a right good season with this fellow...

They can only be getting Simenon handicapped for a major spring handicap hurdle by running him in ground they know he hates.
It doesn't make sense to run a duel Royal Ascot winner(and beaten only 7 lengths in a group 1 )in bottomless ground without any long term objective. |

well spotted dj876 ... i just said the same to someone at punchestown today....
