Just saw PP betting on the mares hurdle at Cheltenham without Quevega.Nothing short of daylight robbery.Betting to 170% on those quoted up to 16/1.A disgrace to bookmaking considering its 3 months away and they keep the non runner stakes. It is entirely possible the the prices on the day will have no runner shorter than what they quote now.

There betting without markets day in day out are nothing short of daylight robbery. Constantly shorter then there competitors. Waste of time going near these jokers.

i think this is a ridicolous decision.....the prizemoney for the mares is only about 40k i think......

39k for the mares or 148k for the stayers without big bucks......what is the reasoning behind this....obviously not financial......

Id take it with a pinch of salt at the moment, very, very unlike Mullins to commit a horse to a race this far out. And the quote has come from the sponsors

So connections can virtually guarantee themselves another flag waving photograph session in the Cheltenham winners enclosure richters.

I have read some pieces recently where they are saying that she is trying to emulate Golden Miller's achievement of 5 in a row.

Winning 5 mares hurdles is a slight step up from Risk Of Thunder winning 5 La Touche Cups.

To even compare it to Golden Miller winning 5 gold cups is insulting.

A ludicrous comparison alright but to get a horse to the festival five years in a row is some achievement, that she has got an easy touch each time is down to the dilution of Cheltenham that dreaded extra day.

Puts the Go Ballistic achievement in perspective then as he made 8 or 9 in a row I think.

Istabraq had some record as had an old hunter chaser from the sixties Baulking Green but have to admit I was unaware of Go Ballistics longevity, remarkable.

I think my old friend Willie Wumpkins deserves an honourable mention.
