if disagreeing with someone who said that nicholls horse would have won the race yesterday if hendersons hadn't run is side splitting then i hold my hands up ...lets not forget that nicholls horse finish third ..the second horse been kembushwar by about 10lts....

paulie wallnuts and intellect are complete strangers.
By:
paulie is another of the usual suspects the tgm robo etc fling in now and again to divert attention away from themselves ..all part of the same gang , boxinthefox , frank was at punchestown today hes stopped backing w/o
By:
I heard he's been losing his Donegal's on w/o, so probably a good move for him. Will have a catch up with you at Crimbo.
By:
no problem boxingthefox , i'm off out again for a few hours ..talk to you , as i said email me anytime ..hope your health is good ....god bless....
By:
Nice bit of race reading on that thread Chitty ![]() ![]() |
By:
coco , tell how the third will turn around roughly 8 lts with the second , seeing as the second met him at level weights yesterday....in your own time now....i'm waiting ....
By:
You are letting yourself down here Paulie Wallnuts and you know it,Workrider gave an opinion nothing more nothing less it certainly wasn't embarrassing. He is a seasoned racegoer with a good eye for a horse he is also old fashioned in that he goes by instinct not a bad trait. In golfing terms he would be the golfer who would walk up to his ball quickly survey the distance grab a six iron and put it on the green, his more modern counterpart like Paddywhacker would consult with his caddy pluck grass throw it in the air, walk fifty paces forward study a notebook return pick a seven iron and then miss the green.
The embarrassment on this thread is the fact that Rocketfingers was the only one to agree with you, admit it Paulie you cringed when you saw his usual worthless contribution. |
By:
wildmanfromborneo , if you have a minute , can you have a look at it , rocket otherwise known as coco has brought this up again over on the main form....if i'm reading it correctly , flyingbolt is saying that nicholls would have won yesterdays race if sprinter wasn't in it ....i say , it was beaten fair and square , kembushwar , beat sanctaire four and a half lengths at level weights ...so how does that make nicholls horse the winner without sprinter ....
By:
its feasible that he could have been winner.
race would have been run completely different. |
By:
mitch , sanctaire , always runs that way , i think if you try and hold him up he sulks , so no matter what , he was going to do his bat out of hell routine , so why wouldn't kembushwar still have come and do him...?
By:
I agree, Nicholls has arrogance way above his post.
By:
you could be right but he could have still lead in that race and not gone as hard a pace as he did trying to take the sting out of sprinter.
By:
he always goes hell for leather , nicholls says hes a lunatic....so no matter what he was beat fair and square...
By:
I think there is merit in both arguments,Sanctuaire is a tearaway who always trail blazes but you could argue that when a front runner gets challenged and passed they compound so in this case Kumbeshwar would never have got to Sanctuaire to force him to compound although he does seem to me to go too fast for his own good.
I can see both sides of the argument and am not convinced either way but for some to come on and maintain that your argument had no merit is ridiculous.as for Rocketfingers he would be unable to follow the thread never mind give an original opinion. |
By:
fair point wildmanfromborneo , at the end of the day , facts are facts , kembushwar beat sanctaire over 4 lts at level weights...i prefer to deal in facts , i leave the dreaming to coco...

Brilliant King but remember you're arguing with a man who' an ex pro punter, was pro for a full 3 months
![]() The fact that your general says he can see both sides of the argument mean you're clueless and talking rubbish ! |

Some classics from the thread, talk about making a fool of yourself, with Chitty's usual shouting antics with he's under pressure to 'try' and think.

Rate reply: | report block user flyingbolt 08 Dec 12 20:31 Joined: 30 May 03 | Topic/replies: 10,539 | Blogger: flyingbolt's blog You seem to be a bit off the pace here, workrider. Rate reply: | report block user Glossy 08 Dec 12 20:33 Joined: 22 Feb 09 | Topic/replies: 10,330 | Blogger: Glossy's blog You do understand how different horses affect the shape of races which in turn inevitably affects the results of races. Far to simplistic a view just to say that Kumbeshwar would beat Sanctuaire 1v1 just because he did in that race today. ![]() |
By:
I'm with workrider on this one, I much rather deal with facts rather than myths, this Sanctuaire has never won a grade one in his life thus far, always shown up to be sub standard at the top level over hurdles, so it looks like its much the same over fences, decent horse but not that good really!.
By:
coco and his mates deal in fantasy ..i deal in facts ..the result states kembushwar beat sanctuaire , according to coco , thats not how it SHOULD HAVE BEEN ....stick to the virtuals coco , your whole life is a cartoon as far as i can see.....

By:
i carnt understand why anyone would want to put up a thread like this?..workrider is no fool..and is entitled to his opinion..i find it sad that just co,s you may disagree with his point of view you try to belittle him on a public forum
..why some post to cause upset is beyond me? its opinions and info that matter...good luck workrider... |
By:
You would be very fond of Thomas Gradgrind in Hard Times so Workrider!
By:
if only tolmi , sadly for me i make mistakes like us all , facts in this case are there for all to see ...i often have days when reflecting on a race and come to a different conclusion ...i think all racing men are alike in their reflections....my point about this race is simply ...sanctuaire has no other way of running ..he always races with the choke out....
By:
thanks tony57 very kind of you....but you get used to the snipers after awhile ...i usually have a wry smile to myself before giving them a little more rope....

At least you got Paulie going for a change of trousers, what goes through some peoples heads, never ceases to amaze me.
Thought Latin Connection was an interesting one in the 2.20 Muss WR,might have an ew chance? Mc Coy booked, probably went over for better ground, beating of Great Oak doesn,t look bad form.Hard to evaluate the others but at around 8,s might be worth a small interest. |
By:
i'll have a look at that now pa....
By:
on your say , had a little £50 on it @ 10/1 on here....heading out for awhile soon so good luck...

By:
I,m under savage pressure now Wr
,really didn't know what to make of the rest of them,a lot of novice form in there. Oh come on Mc Coy. |
By:
unlucky pa , i thought 3 out he never got a proper run at them .....another few strides..such is racing...
By:
Made up a lot of ground alright from turning in though looked held at the finish.Ran well,no cigar.

sanctuaire beats kumbeshwar by 13 lengths today off level weights.
