One of those "could be anything" type horses that should go well on the ground anyhow, best of luck with it,I'll have a little nibble just for an interest

good to see you back dinglemick , as usual , a nice insight as to why you selected this one ..good luck...

Interesting race.I thought the fav might be vulnerable. In his last race My Tent Or Yours pulled Mc Coys arms out and still beat him.The combination of the step up in trip and softer ground would mark him down as a potential lay at the price for me. I could not come down on the side of any of the others though.I thought the Nicholls horse was impressive in his bumper and Up And Go could be anything.Even the two outsiders could not be ruled out.

Plenty of money for this yoke this morning anyway

don mccain has made no secret of how much he likes this one since he bought it off p cashman..and its a decent price..but the bumper it won was average ..although you can only beat whats in front of you..the nicholls horse is my bet in the race..i think if ruby makes the running it,ll play into this horses strengths...but i can see why anyone will follow cash and go..whatever i think both are horses to follow

he horse cost 250, if you saw the way he jumped first time at tallow, you would avoid, second time he made all. i did not like the way he carried himself at uttoxeter. this contest is not a patch on the 2011 edition, fingal bay v simonsig, he could win, i dont trust his jumping. personally i will be place laying.

very disappointing both of them

Not my best ever analysis!Laid the winner at 2.56 backed it back for half my stake at 3.1.Ended up laying it at en effective price of 2.02 but still cost me plenty.
Keen Leader as a point to point regular do you think horses who win point to points impressively making all the running have a poorer record under rules than those who win easily coming from off the pace? While I don't have the stats to back it based it is a gut feeling..Up And Go Teelin Star Present View True Blue etc spring to mind. |

By:
.....kavvie aftertiming AGAIN..he always follows the winners but when they tip a loser he is never on..the worst type of person on these forums.....
.....well done mr. keen leader..... |

shane boy i prob have lost and won more than you could ever dream of.i laid the mccain horse and im not into looking for a feel good factor from you or anyone else on the forum.i just thanked kl for his insight.i was going to back it up to looking at its utox run and i had my doubts then.kls comments were the clincher.hard luck to anyone who backed it..

tolmi, there is no real evidence one way or another, same as asking how do you rate and all the way first time winner of a late autumn maiden at newmarket or the curragh. i prefer to see a horse have to show a little in the way of character, and getting tested over the final few fences. of the quartet you mention i think present view in terms of pointing form had the most substance. he has had 3 quick uk runs for a stable that is not firing, the handler could be clever and maybe getting a mark of 120-125, the horse then becomes a big player off a light weight in a valuable race such as the novice handicap ebf final at sandown in march.

Thanks for the reply. For some reason I seem to think some of the more disappointing high profile pointers of recent years had got an uncontested lead in their points. As I say its a gut feeling ..nothing more.
I see Present View got a mark of 124.He ran well on his second start despite being keen. Was disappointing the last day but he wouldn't be the first horse to leave Towcester form behind. We'll keep him in the notebook. |

Apologies to all who followed me in on Up and Go .Hope too much damage wasn t done ....... Disapointing :(

dinglemick no need for an apology , you put your views up , simple as , its the clowns who never put up anything yet are first in to knock , they are the ones to apologise ...

Glad to see Up and Go showing some of that potential i saw in Lemonfield at wetherby today . Well punted from 5/2 to 6/4 made all and had the race in the bag from a long way out . Looked real good until just before the last when he came under a bit of pressure ( maybe as Keen Leader had pointed out at uttoxeter didnt like head carraige ). Still in fairness to him he came home 7 lengths in front at the end from a 130 rated one ( granted Up and go was getting 10lb from him ) .
Interesting to see where he goes next . We ll keep the faith for now anyway !!!!!!! |

An outside shout for the Albert Bartlett at Chelt imo, nt gone on the horse myself mind but did it well today
|

If i m honest BJG for 3/4 of todays race today i was beginning to restore faith in him but overall he s not top class .
How did the rugby go for you so far this weekend BJG . I did an accum today Saracens straight 10/11 , Harlequins -19 , Clermont -19 and Leinster -21 ![]() ![]() .was disapointed in Leinster and Schmidt in particular when they got the 4th try early in the second half .Considering total number of tries could be vital come next Sunday night they Seemed to take the foot of the pedal and made loads of disrupting changes ( although the last one he made should have been his first one , if Madigan was on earlier i think there might have been another try ) . Ah well , Think Munster bad and all as they are can cover the cap tomorrow . It doesn t get much easier for them now in the last two matches away to the worst team in it and home to a french team that are out . |

UL
![]() Was big on Montpellier -8 and Quins -19 as per rugby forum, only 2 bets on d rugby this weekend Been tippin away with a bit on France for the 6N at 2/1 9/4, think they av the best squad, dont fancy us or Wales at all England the dangers and av France at home but at a similar price i think France are the value, strongest squad by a long way i think Ire/Wales horrid autumn campaigns and injuries galore, Scots/Italy nt good enough Am tempted to tak on Munster tomorro as i think we are priced extremely short but will just watch as Edin av nothin to play for and if they go down early could get destroyed |

Up and Go continued on his upward curve at ascot yesterday easily winning the grade 2 making all ..... I think when he is allowed dictate on deep winter ground like it was at lemonfield when he won its point to point he s very good , not sure he ll get it that way at cheltenham ..... still he s been pretty impressive in its last two runs ...
