Will watch the Mount Benbulben race but I'm going to back Glens Melody against the hot pot.
GLTA. |

Love Mount Benbulben to bits but been told he has back issues so worth taking into consideration. That said I can't see too many triers in the race and if the alternative is Mikael D then not sure I'd want to be opposing the machine with the Mullins horse.

What a race,Mount Benbulben going well enough when Davy asked for a big one and what can you say about poor MDH,some 1.01 bit the dust with him there.

i have to say im disappointed with benbulben...i think his jumping was poor..the one before he fell was a baddy..sick as i had a decent bet on him so talking threw my pocket..but i dont think i,d give him another chance?

|
By:
HAVNT SEEN THE RACE AGAIN YET BUT IM NEARLY SURE he made a mistake at the 1st also

Benbulben's jumping was very sketchy early, then he seemed to get the hang of it somewhat before departing.
Mik jumped fine for the most part but the warning signals were up when he made a hash of the second last, desperately unlucky at the last where he just seemed to take off in Paul's hands. |

By:
Mount B was bad at the first 3 and his jumping is going to stop him reaching his potential

Punchestown inspection
There will be an inspection at Punchestown at 8am on Sunday due to the threat of an overnight frost. |
|
By:
Hope it goes ahead.
Some good racing in store tomorrow. |
|
By:
Of course it'll go ahead, its a grade one track, in Ireland they only call off the odd gaff meeting from Tramore or Limerick and only then in extreme circumstances.
