McGuinness is a great signing for Shams from the champions hopefully we'll get someone decent into replace him, he's much better in the team than Quigley. Thought Enda Stevens done ok yesterday i hope i'm wrong but i don't believe he's up to that level but we'll see best of luck to the lad he should have a few games to prove himself.

Only seen your post today as i was out celebrating our league trophy for the 4th weekend in a row.
Disappointed to lose mcguinness - a true gent - quigley can be replaced. Quigs will just bring more poison to a already poisoned dressing room. Him brennan and mccabe will be some triple act. Laws saw what was going on at your club and jumped ship. Classless morons at the top and the bottom . Some sound people in the middle like yourself wr , but overall , not a club i would be interested in supporting. Sligo Rovers could have thrown big money at these lads but we are going to be prudent financially. North will be like a new signing. We have a few good players in the pipeline also. Shamrock Rangers will end up with serious financial difficulties - no trophies , no european football(or the money that that brings), court case by your former manager and a dwindling fanbase. Glad your happy today wr. |

by the end of the season the'll be no need to travel to sligo . we'll have the league wrapped up with 4 games to go ....the only reason i'll be heading to sligo is for a game of golf....

The evening you scraped the 1-1 in Tallaght against us what the day you were gone. The league was a cake walk for us even with so many quality players missing at the end we beat Pats and we would have won it the year before only for Cook and his habbit of starting terrible, you have a long way to catch up but as i said above we the 'Champions' welcome the chase even it's from mid table team. |

Sligo dont look like a club building on their success of winning the league,most of their main players are leaving,gerry carr left aswell,Rogers will be signing for us wouldnt be a big fan of Quigley,Now this will come as a surprise to the sligo fans ndo in talks with us aswell,been told to lower his wage demand.

That's all that matters workrider you won't even be in Europe, we don't live at the past at Rovers Carr not offered a new contract, no loss imo but has the club at heart. Players hearing about the monster contracts you're handing out up there, seriously i hope you don't end like Drogs, Cork, Shels etc chasing the dream of being Ireland's number 1 again. |

these Sligo boys have fierce notions of themselves now that they ve won their first title in how many decades. Shamrock Rovers will always be tops in irish football. Sligo are still only trotting after the likes of dundalk, who are in a state these days but are the most successful provincial club in the country

yes freddiek , dundalk , always hated having to go up to oriel to get a result ..one tough place to get a win ..even a few years ago when we were flying high , we were brought crashing down to earth , with a 5...1..hammering....

its not notions freddiek , its the joy and emotion of winning a league title that makes times like this special.
To look down on shamrock rovers is particularly pleasing after all them horrible defeats down the years - i remember the late 80s losing 8-0 at home to dundalk. You as a dundalk fan with your current troubles should be particularly pleased to see a team come from the doledrums to be irelands current no 1.
