heading up there tomorrow for my annual visit , plus i promised norns wife i'd carry him home as usual....after 10 pints he's anyones...Laugh...
now to more serious matters , a couple i fancy strongly are as follows ..in the first art of logistics , i think this should pick up this maiden before going on to better things ,  i was really impressed with his bumper win at ross ..if this fellow jumps it wins ....
sizzing europe is a real star and will try for the 3nd year running to win this , i think he'll win , last year he set a strong gallop which set it up for the stayers to come and do him after the last ..if he sets a more sedate pace tomorrow he should hold on and win...
my third fancy is cristal bonus , nicholls seldom leaves here empty handed and can win with this fellow ....bog warrior has questions to answer ,martins horses are flying and this fellow if jumping well will give cristal bonus most to do...happy punting one and all...

"sizzing europe is a real star and will try for the 3nd year running to win this".
Where does one start with such a statement?

his record over shorter is superb and needs no introduction , yet you question his status ...is he not a star in you eyes...?..is it not is third attempt to win this...? if not please enlighten me...?...i await your answers...

wonky, do you not think we all know this horse is a superstar? why the need to state the obvious? like saying messi is a great footballer yeah?
he is not a 3 miler, certainly not in winter ground. he may well win tomorrow but i will be having a small interest on quito de la roque. i am amazed sizing keeps coming back for more.

I don't see any harm in them having another crack at the race. He was only beaten 4L by Kauto Star on soft when i thought he jumped way too slow. Then last year on soft again he was only beat 1 1/4L by Quito De La Roque when looking all over the winner for the majority of the race only to be run down in the last strides by Quito who was being pushed along a long way out.

This time the ground is better and i'm sure Sizing Europe supporters will feel that will be the key to him reversing last years form. Even if he gets beat again anyway they can always just drop him back in trip again as running in this event previously has not harmed him or blunted his speed.

all i said was he was a star  , many football journos state time and time again that messi is a great footballer ...i think on reflection you realized what a plank you made of yourself and are now pulling your horns in ...you could just have opened with ....he is not a 3 miler, certainly not in winter ground. he may well win tomorrow but i will be having a small interest on quito de la roque. i am amazed sizing keeps coming back for more.
but no you had to try and show off ...now thats out o the way , i happen to agree with you , re him  not been a 3 miler ...maybe in future you'll not find the need to always impress , and can just enjoy a little debate ....
premier you've got it spot on ..they know he's top class over shorter and can return anytime they want...

Cant have Sizing on my mind,He'll be treading water as usual in the final furlong,
The horse is a class act,But this is not his distance,How can a horse be such a ridiculous price having never won at the trip?
His price is wrong,i like the look of Realth Dubh,Step up to 3 miles is what this horse has been crying out for,Dont know why its taken connections so long to step him up in trip,He's a plodder and tomorrows race will suit. He'll do for me.
Good Luck

Workrider,i may be wrong but i think slickster was pointing out your bad grammar....

if you feel the need to tell educated racing people on this forum that sizing europe is a real star as he approaches 11, well i pity you wonks....

cheltenham , if you go through 99% of threads on here you'll find bad grammar , its just thickster been his usual grumpy self ..the poor guy has a massive ego , but hey, its all a bit of fun ....if its good grammar you want chelters , try another forum...Cool ....thickster , its my opinion hes a star , so why should i not say so ....?....re your selection , last year the horse could not stay with them from a mile out , only when they stopped after the last did he appear to swoop ...sizzing took on the english horse for 2 miles at champion chase pace ..it was no wonder he fell in a heap...no english raider to take him on at that sort of pace tomorrow cue an easy win.....
By:
CheltenhamRoar
When: 02 Nov 12 20:11
workrider, why do u assume it has to an english raider that will set the pace,Do you not think that will be in all the other trainers minds?
Set a strong pace against a non stayer and they'll get it beat,Not exactly rocket science,in fact there's any number of horses who could set a strong pace,
Chicago Grey stays forever so could easily set off in front to run them into the ground,as could the majority of the field as most of them are stayers,
So not really sure where your coming up with this assumption that there wont be a strong pace

Dont be surprised if they try make all on Quito,Would make sense if they did.

there's just no talking to the fool. wonky, i'll be surprised if sizing wins tomorrow. would be quite easy to get him beat. i agree with cheltenham. and wonky, one thing that will NOT be happening tomorrow is "an easy win" for sizing europe. for you, or anyone, to think that just shows how utterly limited you truly are. and please have respect for this horse that apparently only you think is a real star. there is only 1 Z in his name ok?

Quito far too slow to make the running and would ruin his chance if he attempted it,he also needs bottomless ground.
Ground was yielding to soft there today so maybe Norn Iron could tell us if it's raining or drying out up there.
This is the poorest renewal of this race and if the ground doesn't deteriorate Sizing Europe should get home alright.

the're all stayers all right , question mark over realt dubh ...none of them would have sizzings pace , chicago usually rode out the back ,quito  usually rode out the back , joncol the same , this is a huge rise in class for chicago , british races are usually run at a much faster pace than over here btw....quito making it , dont make me laugh , bob lingo might make it , but hes really only a handicapper , sizzing will sit just off the pace and coming into the straight will kick on and put it to bed....

WMFB NO RAIN TODAY AND STRONG WINDS (THINK REAL SOFT PATCH DOWN THE BACK)  BUT THE TIMES 2DAY  WERE  SUPPOSED TO BE DECENT SO IT WONT BE NEAR AS TESTING AS LAST YEAR WHEN I THOUGHT MIDNIGHT CHASE WENT OF TO QUICK AND SIZING EUROPE  GOT INTO BATTLE TO EARLY CAN SEE HIM GETTING NICE LEAD AND SHOULD WIN  . DANGER REALTH DUBH

Agree Workrider, I think SE is nailed on today, even though I think it really doesnt stay 3m...as there are doubts about the other...2/1 looks big
Quito is a real fav of mine but think he will most definitely need the race.....that is the only reason I have deserted him for the 1st time in all his chases.
