Criterium International (Group 1) (2yo Colts & Fillies)

1m, £119,041.67

1 Loch Garman 11/2
2 Anna's Pearl 13/1
3 Us Law 3/1

6 ran Distances: ½l, 1¼l, 3½l

Loch Garman lunged late to grab Group One glory for Jim Bolger in the Criterium International at Saint-Cloud.

Ralph Beckett's British raider Anna's Pearl made most of the running in first-time blinkers, and looked the most likely winner when seeing off US Law at the top of the home straight.

Loch Garman, who only made a winning debut at Navan a week ago, was ridden far more patiently by Kevin Manning, but the jockey was rowing along rounding the final bend. Despite running green once switched wide, the son of Teofilo found top gear in the final furlong and swept by the Jim Crowley-ridden Anna's Pearl to take top honours.

US Law was third.

Won easily last week at Navan  - forgot it was running today Angry

Well done Jim Bolger
Another one for Teofilio, Darley have some super young stallions.
Only for Galileo,Coolmore would be in a spot of bother.
On a side note,I see Coolmore have bought a half share in the Todd Pletcher trained Shanghai Bobby before he runs in Santa Anita.
