Ok I know such a thing doesnt really exist but I must go over next month for a 3 day course so would appreciate if anyone knows a reasonable spot,

London Metropole and Marriott Marble Arch both well located and pretty reasonable as rates go in London. I've stayed at both a couple of times on business and they're ideal.

booking dot com is ur best site to look at.

I'd recommend trivago for searching, it picks up booking dot com prices, as well as about 7 other similar sites, and shows you the best rate from them all

Regents Palace closed about 5 years ago.
There are several Travelodges in central London, Covent Garden,Farringdon,Kings Cross,Waterloo etc. Should be about £100 per night.
The Covent Garden one is very near Soho for nightlife

my sons stayed in the covent garden one last year when we went to play spurs ..they said it was very clean and great value hth....
