What a race to start Champions day at Ascot.
I doff my hat to Dermot Weld for getting this injury-prone horse to come back after 510 days off and do what he did today . Credit to Smullen for a doughty ride.
Thrilling stuff to watch -racing at its best in a fabulous arena.
