mount benbulben makes it chasing debut tomorrow ...if you want heart in the mouth stuff this fellow is sure to provide it .. i seen him win his p2p at tinahealy i was very impressed ...not sure if he'll be busy tomorrow , but i'm heading there and will punt him...a really interesting card tomorrow ....stocktons wing should get us off to a nice start in the first ..he ran a race full of promise first time out ...another i'll be hoping will run really well is burn and turn and will be backing her w/o fav...burn and turn has really impressed me in both her runs this year , she is a progressive mare who i think will win more races ..she'll have her work cut out to beat tarla but is a good bet w/o tarla imo...

I hope it goes ahead,one of the most continuously underrated novice hurdlers of last year will also contest this hot beginners chase. Lyreen Legend should relish the conditions,similar to those encountered when he split Boston Bob and Make your mark.
this novice chase ought to be a rich mine for winners up to christmas.
one very important item workrider forgot about mt benbulben is that in his two outings between the flags, especilly his dromahane debut, he ploughed through fences, losing ground at the obstacles and with his powerful gallop making it up on the level. his jumping of hurdles at times last winter was at times shoddy. he may be a slow learner and ge may have improved his jumping, my original hunch was that his jumping may be his weakness and could stop him reaching a very high level. punchestown will give him a good test and enlighten us a little.

Stopped raining about 2pm,drying wind at the minute,I'd say about 75/25 it will be off,be delighted to be proved wrong.

what that shows me poorman is you cant even understand betting ....if you think it value ..back it ..if you dont lay it ..simple son ....the horse was a right price at one time , then when you looked at the fallers during racing , it became obvious that it would find it hard to jump the fences as it was its debut ...so it became a lay...no charge for the lesson son....

They must of found a plug hole somewhere on the track and pulled the stopper because there was nowhere near enough dry weather yesterday,there's a blanket call off already of all under 18 downwards football fixtures in Kildare this weekend.
