9/4 Knockfierna, 3/1 Rivage D'Or, 7/2 Rathlin, 7/2 False Economy, ,  6/1 Down In Neworleans, 33/1 Imperial Shabra, 50/1 Watercolours.

Early prices with ppowers in what looks a decent race. Interetsing that davy russell doesn't ride rathlin. Early preference with knockfierna but rivage d'or and false economy both race fit. Thoughts?

v interesting dat Davy doesn't ride rathlin.not much between first few in betting.i fancy da mare to have a good year so hope she takes this in style.9/4 is skinny enough I suppose. rathlin and false economy prob ave more in the book but with Davy preferring the other giggy horse and false economy showing a preference for better ground she was always likely to be fav particularly considering connections

Knockfierna looked nearly certain to beat Sir Des Champs till running out here and look what he went on to do.She may or not repeat that temperment but she is an exciting mare who likes the course.

i was there the day she won a hurdle race having been well backed , shes a fine mare  who jumps a fence , as you say pa , she would certainly have made a race of it imo with des champs ....i'd say if given the choice , davy would pick her today....

you would have to wonder what was barry doing bringing her up the inside at that fence given her history

I dont think there was a lot Barry could do. Rivage D'or looked to be travelling better at that stage and Russell was holding his line.

I think she would have beaten rivage d'or.he is well known for not finding much.the winner did stay on v well to be fair and may have collared her on the run in had she jumped the fence.its disappointing it has happened again and she is obviously a very quirky mare.she has plenty of ability tho was travelling well enuf yesterday considering she pulled hard enuf early on and was slow at a few fences down da back.interesting to know what Byrnes will do with her now.surely she'll keep away from lim for her next run

i think we are doing the winner a disservice here lads ..nobody even said he won well , which he did...an improving horse , after his win at galway this was another example of a horse on the up....

MoneyPenny I thought the same thing. The only thing she won back there since with no hint of an attitude. However that day she was in front and well off the wing. He should have been wise to it, there is lots of room there and up the inner sitting chilly is seldom the right route on the chase track at Limerick.

rivage d'or is one soft animal, a great lay in running, going back at least two years
