mick mccarthy wouldya stop, Roy Keane dragged that team to the world cup and some people were conned into thinkin mick was a decent manager. he was booed out of the job in the end

We were beaten by Germany, who are ranked number two in the FIFA rankings.  And because of that people want to replace the manager with the most divisive person in recent memory in Irish international football.  How will that help?

gant, money is not an issue, it will be found somewhere.

the big play here is mr delaney. i felt sorry for big joe when he was fai treasurer and that time the ticket agent disappeared with all the money, well got was joe, you still see him at the races most days. when he departed office, junior clearly arrived with a marked card.if within a pro/semi and amateur mix of an organisation, you know who to look after then that is the key component of job security. no one from within can touch him.

delaney has an obscene salary( 4 times his counterpart in bayern munich), and to keep the media heat off himself, he will be happy to beg or borrow money to get rid of trap and appoint a new manager. if he got another big name like rafa or harry, he will be lauded as cunning, and questions on finances will be put aside as the media and public are lulled into a false sense of optimism.

the longer delaney stays in situ with his handsome salary, the linked pension builds and a bit like blatter at fifa, self perservation comes first, everything second.

Imo the there is no money to be found who would lend that devious clown Delaney the money? I heard some stories from v well placed sources about the FAI finances, put it this way i we win the LOI tomorrow we'll do very well to get anything close to what we're due off the FAI. I know this because of the last 2 seasons.

Roy Keane is a treacherous bollix who has a proven track record as being a sh1t manager. Some people have very short memories.
