once again it shows our lack of a top class gold cup horse , nicholls attempting to win this big prize , with what , in all truth is very much a second string , compared to what he has been sending over to win this in the recent past....i can see the english plundering our top races beyond 3ml this season ...the horse who i would like to see come good this year from that entry is....joncol...this massive fellow looked for all the world to be the 2nd coming a few seasons ago....what with injuries etc he never fulfilled that promise ....hopefully this will be his season , i still cant believe he got beat at leopardstown that day....

Sir Des Champs will be an obstacle for any British Raiders hoping to collect 3m pots in Ireland this year.
Took me a while to be convinced but at Cheltenham last year he looked something special. |

Realt Dubh will be a much better horse over a trip imo,Been banging on about it for a long time,Cant believe Meade ever thought he was a 2 miler,
He's a stayer!and to top his crazy season off meade sent him back over hurdles over 2 miles on good ground at killarney in may!! Don't be surprised if he wins this should he take part. |
