you are one of the lucky ones that can afford the kildare members badge still......sadly people that work for a living wouldnt be able to stump up.......the guest you should bring is......the minister for social welfare......

If they are inviting members then Wildman, gant and richters are sure to have got these as well although they'll struggle to find a friend to bring between them.

wildman, can still be bought as singles or three in one. great value for sure but with economy as it is hard to justify if not making good use of them.usually lots of free tickets about for festival at punches in recent years making me wonder if its worth buying badge anymore.

There is around fifty days racing in total with that Kildare badge but agree you would want to be a regular race goer, many of these are bought as presents and under utilised but the payment up front is a bonanza for the said racecourses.
There is something in the Irish psyche that wants to get in for nothing,I remember going to Punchestown many years ago when one of our team had no brief so called into many places to get a free ticket, half an hour was wasted with some embarrassment at the begging,he wasn't giving in finally some official was bribed and he sauntered happy that he had beaten the system,it didn't last too long as he lost eight hundred on the first race. |

Yawn zzzzzzzzz You're forgetting yourself Wildman you told the exact same story about the Curragh on a derby day thread a while back, bad slip up must be the age.

With your low attention span and other problems you can't remember the drivel you normally post never mind something I allegedly posted four months ago.

served him right. no body wants to pay in but are willing to blow wads on stupid tips from other idiots like themselves who know nothing about the game. worst culprits are ones who turn up at festivals. and what they dont blow at the books they blow at the bar. met a guy i know outside of punchestown on the friday this year told me he had good word for lucky william in first.met him after the race thanked him for info ,to be told he was not on himself was late in as some guy who had a ticket for him in time so he missed the race.

Oufies it's not real, he told the same story about derby day once and how they went into every pub in Newbridge looking for tickets. I've heard all his stories by now i like them and i really should not have pointed out this to him, easy to spot them though as there is no detail to the story. If you don't take him serious they're enjoyable.

Laytown was called off a few years ago, there was a queue to get your refund,Laytown gave out vouchers for Bellewstown instead because they knew they would not have the money to give out.The amount that pay in to ordinary Irish meetings would be less than a quarter in my estimation and it is the gentlemen who get in for nothing who avail of the prime parking spots, remember the immortal sign at Leopardstown near the gate a fair bit from the course,it read The Public and pointed to the furthest away car park,it should have read the mugs that pay.
