A dreadful race run in a dreadful country, policed by biased stewards who could do anything.
The race has little tradition and has been won by some terrible nags, this year upheld this unwanted tradition. It is usually a rough race and the draw is vital,it comes at the end of a long season and is seldom won by the best horse.

My god Wildman you do realise the race has passed for this year? It was on Sunday, it's not on this Sunday you halfwit.

That low attention span again Rocketfingers, try reading it again.
Kingrat is like you in that he has found the opening post long and probably doesn't understand it.
On second thoughts I suppose I will have to spell it out
" race has been won by some terrible nags, this year upheld that unwanted tradition "

"No tradition" the race is not for off 100 years old LaughLaughLaughLaugh

You really are clueless, Sea the stars, Sinndar, Dancing Brave, Monjeau, Workforce, Mill reef, Rainbow Quest, Peintre Celebre, Allez France, Alleged just a few of the bad ones that one. Sober up before you make a bigger fool of yourself. Btw stop quoting yourself.

I had to quote myself to show that you failed to understand my opening post.
The race was regarded as a nothing race for years by the French, however the Italian horse Ribot gave the race some prestige with his two victories in the fifties, admittedly the race won by Sea Bird was an exceptional field but the other winners from the sixties were useless.
On what basis do you call Alleged a champion,he was trounced in the St Leger and his only victories of note were in the Arc.
It is only in recent years that the good horses are now going for it and that's what I mean by lacking in tradition.

You do realise Alleged was top rated horse in Europe 2 years running Wildman and top rated horse by timeform. These people know more about racing than me and certainly you, who does not understand exactly how historic the arc actually is.

I form my own opinions and have always maintained that Timeform have placed far too much credence in the Arc,their rating of Alleged is just pure wrong, they rated the beast higher than Nijinsky and Grundy two genuine champions who won multiple Group one races and classics.Alleged only run in a classic was the St Leger and he was trounced, his only big race wins were in the Arc.

That chilling threat again, the one that makes Never Give Ups heart sink.Reconsider Rocketfingers if you were to leave there would be none of your classic quotes
" Muslims are good to women sure that's why they wont let them work "
" Gelding is the care and feeding of a horse "
I think I will stop there as your classic quotes are worthy of a separate thread.

You thought gelding was a verb and that was your definition, there are loads of others I will put them up on your tribute thread.
By:
Rocketfingers
When: 10 Oct 12 01:30
You're making them up, i believe some of the stuff i posted requires thinking outside the box to understand it. Certainly as a man who has owned geldings in the past i knew what one was. I always stand by something i said, i said about the Muslims being kind to their women not making them work if they don't want to, also ensuring their marriage partners are suitable for their daughter/sister, maybe we could take a leaf out of their book?

Wildman stereotypical answer is a lot different than the true one for how a Muslim man treats his woman. The tabloid readers on here will see them different than the likes of me who had first hand experience of living with some Muslims and even at a wedding. The truth is the Muslim man provides his wife with the respect, care and some guidance to get through life.

I was worried there for a while, normally it takes under twenty minutes to get a response.
Seriously though can you not use your considerable influence to implore Rocketfingers to remove his ghastly threat,I would be concerned for your mental well being were he to go.There is an almost ready made replacement  in the form of Kingrat,he may be foul mouthed,he may have an unhealthy interest in human excrement ,he may have a low attention span,he may be nocturnal heck I take it all back he is perfect for you,now that's a relief we no longer need the dull juvenile fantasist that is Rocketfingers.
You also have two other things in common with Kingrat, one with regards his name, the other something Pa Lapsy referred to.
Here's to a great new friendship.
