Will the Tipperary stewards be paying attention?

Would have been interesting if Rebel Fitz would have settled today as he ran with the choke out for most of the race, winner did it well but finished behind the runner up last twice-that's racing.

Chapman interviewed Mullins at Longchamp and he told him they only started schooling the graded horses last week, he said ATS wsn't fit. I backed the favourite but in hindsight should have included the winner as well at 13 on here. that was too big but it easy to be wise after

lustrumm, there was a 12.5 length turnaround today on C/D run on identical ground at the end of July between the first two in the race so I wouldn't be bashing myself over the head over it.Happy

212. (a) Every horse which runs in a race shall be run on its merits.

(i) The rider of every horse shall take all reasonable and
permissible measures throughout the race to ensure that
his horse is given a full opportunity to win or of obtaining
the best possible place.

(ii) Horses shall not be run in races where they are in a
condition which would preclude their chances of winning

Make of that what you will, but such is the effing non enforcement of the rule a trainer can come out and say he'll need the run, but in other words this horse is so unfit I'd fancy a beach donkey to give it a run for its money!.
nor shall they be run for the purpose of giving them a
school.

(iii) The racecourse must not be used as a training ground and
all horses, including horses having their first run, must be
ridden to attain the best possible place and must not be
deliberately eased before passing the winning post without
good reason.
