Whilst watching tonight's racing at Dundalk I was astounded to see the Boyles representative Leon Blanche interviewing Aidan OBrien for ATR,surely that is wrong.
Have ATR no one there that they need to use a bookies representative to do the interviewing,is there no journalist there,the interview itself was anodyne but it doesn't look good to me.

wmfb it is not often that spoils get any airtime on atr....they usually have haley o connor from ladbrokes.....

Fair enough but Hayley is just giving prices not interviewing the champion trainer,I could be being harsh on ATR but it just looks wrong to me.

Looked to me that Blanche might have been working for Dundalk racecourse and ATR decided to show a recording of it because he was interviewing Aidan ref his Arc runners, it was filmed from a good distance away and the sound was a bit on the tinny side, I could be wrong though?.

They have all these rules against jockeys,they can hardly speak to their neighbours for fear of being accused of passing information yet a bookmakers representative is interviewing trainers on behalf of Dundalk and they don't see the conflict. |

he is an absolute idiot. dont know how he holds down the gig as mouthpiece for spoils. the late paul magee really knew his stuff but this fellow is a complete bluffer.

my daughter's boyfriend interviewed him on local radio today....he was quite nice to the lad ,weather leon should should be interviewing obrien is another matter...

Seen him after Leopardstown one day racing and he seemed like an ok lad. I was busy getting the beer into me though up at the bar and trying to eye up a little Christmas cracker

to be honest im not a fan of leon but you dont need credentials to interview aidan o'brien.
these ah sure listen obviously hopefully pleasure privilege interviews dont change much. he never gives much away. |

heard leon and sidekick were going round the retail estate last week giving out enhanced odds etc, trying to help dentify who the shrewdies in each shop are
