 Why do the GAA glitz it up a bit getting the fixtures Secretary and the president to do the draw, people want to see the stars even be it past ones like they do in football not the bloody fixtures secretary. |

God will be a short summer in Offaly next summer. It's a bit crazy when i do think about that Sligo have London and Leitrim standing in their way for a place in the Connacht final and what other teams must do to get to a provincial final but we'll take it all the same :)

Meath will fancy their chances of making it to a provinical decider, Sligo aswell.
Galway v. Mayo and of course Donegal and Tyrone, what a away to kickstart the campaign. Feel sorry for the likes of the Tipp footballers, is it the third year they have been drawn against Kerry? |

Sligo straight into the final Laugh ------------------------------------------ Really, I seem to recall a very tasty win last year betting against your boys against my little "pet" team, Leitrim, great lads to lose but beat the handicap, close run thing then fall short  ).I could be wrong, but wasn't that match in Sligo?....therefore this time it would be in Carrick-on-Shannon? Hmm, let me see.....!! And as I recall from my research that time, don't Sligo have a pretty dismal record against Leitrim in the Connacht Championship, not sure about this to be honest but it isn't hectic in recent times. |

Just spoke to a Leitrim lad here in work, asked was he happy with their draw and did he fancy them beating Sligo again.
- he said - "what are you talking about, its New York, then London and straight into a Connacht Final - got to be happy with that  " |
