Kiddo i rarely write a team off but this Dundalk side have no chance just take the Pats bet and don't be throwing away value.

Thanks for the input RF. Hadn't really considered the nitty gritty of the Dundalk match yet to be honest, the 2/1 outright just jumped out at me. I know Pats were missing a few last night (didn't matter of course) so would be looking at team news before the weekend to decide on what cover to take, if any.

Most of those were suspended but will be back, i think they just rested Conor Kenna as well, Dundalk will be without one of their better midfielders for this as well and maybe their best best player too. I'll check that up for you.

ST Pats last won the FAI CUP in 1961 beating Drumcondra 2/1.. also in 1959 beating Waterford 2/1 in a replay.. i was knee high to a grasshopper but i was behind the Drums goal when Mich smith the drums Goalkepper let in a soft goal to let ST PATS wIn there last FAI CUP..I CANT BELIVE IT WAS 51YEARS AGO.
I have to go now and collect my old age pension ![]() |

he became a real star at rovers did mick ... can still see him now...i remember we were 3...1.down with 3 mins left against drums ...no added time then ...ronnie nolan smashed a goal off the crossbar .mick dived to try and stop it ..it came back off the xbar and hit him on the back and went in...we won 4..3..what a match ..can see ronnie been carried shoulder high off the pitch...what memories....i hope pats win it this year ..looks as if its our only way back into europe....

MICK was a great character workrider/ i hope he;s still with us.

frankalsorn... not to sure if he is tbh , will try and find out , he was a fine keeper as well , i always felt confident when he was directing operations at the back ....he appeared to fill defenders with confidence ...

Gonna let this ride for today....

kiddo, Pat's main worry is Dundalk's artificial surface. If you were looking to have a saver I would have a small bet on Dundalk to win in 90 mins today. You should be able to get about 10/1 on here which is a bit of value.

Absolute nonsense about the pitch it hasnt stopped them winning on their last six visits to Oriel.
|

By:
St Patrick's Athletic are one win away from ending a 51-year wait for the FAI Cup after Liam Buckley's men booked their spot in the final thanks to a 3-0 win over Dundalk at Oriel Park. AWAY THE SAINTS.

Shels to win it for me

2000 at that match today.....Decent enough crowd for a cup semi final.
|
|
By:
I can't agree with you Gant poor crowds for a cup semi, our last 2 crowds for home semi's was 5.5k and 4.8k both sell outs but Sligo is a football town.
|
|
By:
They will hardly have the final in the aviva with crowds like that for a semi.
|
|
By:
Sligo seems to be the exception to the rule......fair play.
