I don't think of Patrick as a good rider workrider, I see him more of a butcher, he's a very whip happy jockey, hence butcher!.

Take a look at this video link for the Punchestown bumper in 2011, note how he hits his horse 16 times in the last furlong, not on the rump but mostly on the horses ribcage which is totally against the rules, but in Ireland it seems anything goes?, McNamara on the winner Waaheb didn't spare the rod either mind you, a win at all costs attitude for big races and the stewards remain blissfully apathetic!.

Whip bans have increased massively this season, silvergreaser.

Only the little guy from the little stable redbait, this Mullins guy has been butchering horses on the ribcage almost routinely and hasn't got a ban yet, well as far as I can remember?, there was a race at Naas I think? where he finished runner up in the Barry O'Connell colours, damned if I can remember the horses name, but this was what you would call a literal slaughtering of an animal, and I'm no prude I can watch horses been hit without hiding my head under a pillow, its part and parcel of a race finish, but this jockey seems to resort to the whip the minute the horse comes off the bridle, the butcher boy Mullins would make Ted "the enforcer" Walsh look like a ****cat.
