The last time we had a better Football final than hurling final?

I'd go back to the 1994 final Down beat Dublin, but i know a man who never misses a final  and he said he'd go back to 1989 when Cork beat Mayo and Tip destroyed Antrim, i'll bow to his superior knowledge of the GAA.
