knowing they would be unable to win anything themselves , they cunningly hatched a plan that would scupper rovers plans to win three in a row ....by making some of their old guards available they knew their old boss would bite ...stephen played into their hands and bought all the duds ....fair play to ye ...it worked....

tonight was an all time low ...playing football that an under 8 team would be embarrassed by , they reached a level i never thought possible ...to call what was served up tonight football would be generous in the extreme ...a shambles ,for the first time ever i left a rovers game before it finished ....laws played the same team glass had out against shelbourne more or less ...a team devoid of footballing ability ...they said laws watched videos of our recent games...i can only imagine they got lost in the post ....congratulations to my old team mate mick cook and well done drogheda....

sad thing is sof , were it only that i'd be happy ..its our style of play ..can see the crowds dropping off big time ....how he kept that clown gilbert on is beyond belief cause of all the goals ...worse player i've seen in years ....off to bed soon hopeflly when i wake it'll be only the start of the season, and this will only be a nightmare....

Ye will be back next year Workrider. Whoever was responsible for the signings of Gilbert jansson and Powell should be shot . Powell was shocking last year with us and we couldn't believe it when ye signed him .
Ye have been unlucky with injuries and discipline has been a problem. Playing Finn wide on the right was a big mistake - think McCabe Brennan and turner are poison and you need to get rid of the other 2. Bounce back against pats. Ye need it to make Europe. Our rivalry will be renewed next year. |
