No interest in the game over there it's the one thing that's never traveled well, is the GAA among us Irish.

Poor bait rocketfingers on the joint biggest day in the Irish sporting calender..........it's still the big daddy in the 32 counties.

Gant no getting away from what i said is true, inside Ireland massive outside Ireland can't watch unless you can get Setanta, no oversees rights and milllions of Irish immigrants or people of Iris descent. Not even on BBC 3 or 4 in England Cry

I,ll simplify it for ya,If you have sky you can watch the match in England free.
Report GANT007 September 23, 2012 10:29 AM BST
The Irish in the UK who want to see it will see it......Man Utd/ Liverpool will be high on the agenda in the UK today.
Report Rocketfingers September 23, 2012 10:29 AM BST
Ya but again only because of sky and through their service you can get it. I'm talking about our neighbour not showing it, i mean you can technically pick up RTE as well, Premier sports in England as well. Itv and BBC just ignore it in England, they have no interest in it.
Report GANT007 September 23, 2012 10:37 AM BST
Not too worried about television stations in another country not showing it........as long as it continues to grow at home that's all we can ask for.
Report Rocketfingers September 23, 2012 10:44 AM BST
Yes gant let's the attendances start to get back to where they were in the 70, 80's & 90's Happy
Report Rocketfingers September 23, 2012 10:50 AM BST
To be fair until you start to care about the GAA getting more popular in foreign soils then you can't expect to find a GAA in the high street in London. Grin
Report GANT007 September 23, 2012 10:54 AM BST
The crowds are on the up and the game is in a good place.
Did TV keep the crowds away from your cup final yesterday........3000 is very poor and I hear a few left before the game started after getting to play FIFA 2013........EA sports tried hard to get a crowd by giving people a look at it before release next week......Will they renew sponsorship.

Greyhounds going down the same route as the loi.
Report Rocketfingers September 23, 2012 11:15 AM BST
C'mon gant these are clubs playing in a minor cup comp, poor crowd when you compare it to the cup final and getting crowds of 36k, i don't two clubs in any sport got a crowd like that in Ireland in a long time..
