Wrong forum or not rocket but I can't let Francomes statement go without saying he's talking total boll!x, I seem to remember Camelot been hard on the bridle until he was switched 2 furlongs from home, Francome must have been looking at the wrong colours to come out with that baffling statement?.

poor rocket been blasted again over on the racing forum ...some of our lads even giving the poor sod away  cue gant ......

the horse didnt pick up simple as..the godolphin horse visibly quickened when joey got serious with camelot the response didnt come..also barza didnt use his whip throughout the last furlong as he knew hed the race won...winning margin could have been greater..was beaten by a better horse on the day

What do you mean the horse didn't pick up? Barza started his run at the 3 furlong pole and by the time he got to the furlong pole he was in full flight. JOB Fell asleep and only sarted to get busy 1 and a half furlongs out but sadly for Joseph the bird had flown. He stayed on well but left it too late. Palpable jockey error, best horse finished second. As a result, Camelot's stud fee has just been halved. Furthermore, it didn't look good when asked to quicken, he cocked his jaw and carried his head high. Coolmore will loose millions as a result of the ride. It  was too big a job for the young lad who under normal circumstances  would still be a 5 lb claimer.
