Not about Des Cahill but was anyone else listening to "Today with Pat Kenny" this morning ?
The show opened as usual with a brief synopsis of what was to come. One of the items mentioned by P.K. was specifically in relation to the betting on the replay. At just after 11, during the sports news, this guy came on and emphatically said that Galway's price had drifted for the replay. According to him, they were 9/4 before yesterday's game and now had drifted to 11/4 (I assume he was referring to the "lift the trophy" price).
I did a quick check and, not to my surprise, found that his information was blatantly wrong - Galway's price with all quoted bookmakers had contracted in the wake of yesterday's performance.
Not good enough. Must do better (and I don't mean KK or Galway).
