Galway beat Kilkenny in the Leinster final , by playing well ( and better than Kilkenny ) . I dont think Kilkenny will blow Galway away like they did Tipp --in the second half-- in the semi .
Kilkenny are favourites largely based on their superlative winning record , their ability to hurl , and their spirit . But Galway played so well against them in that Leinster final , that I suspect Galway will put it up to Kilkenny and we will maybe get a classic hurling match on Sunday . I have no magic ability to foresee what transpires on Sunday , but my strategy will be to back Galway at some point if I sense an ability to stay with the Cats early on , and try to trade out for a profit either way . Goals obviously change games , if Galway mark tight and stop the goals ( which Tipp spectacularly did not ) the possibility of a close match emerges . Whoever wins will have played some super hurling I will wager . Thats all though I will wager until the match starts . |

PPs paying double odds if firstgoalscorer scores a second....Tj Reid, aidan Fogarty & richie Power value here...

galway are a big price at 3/1. Tipp were dreadful, limerick could have given kk a game if they hadnt conceded some daft goals in the first half.
The leinster final seems to have been forgotten by the bookmakers, if the galway lads can get over the inexperience and nerves then they have every chance.....they also have an extremely fit and dangerous joe canning. |

I'll try Michael Fennelly MOTM 16s and Niall Burke First Pointscorer 25s
|
|

Richie Hogan 14/1 to score first goal, that is massive. He's picked at midfield in replace of Rice but he'll be put into the corner. He'll be eager to make up for his lash out against Limerick.
No. of yellow cards to be shown - Over 6.5 10/11. |

Way off about KK and Richie Hogan playing inside. Great game of hurling.
Skehill's save was serious, best game of the lot! |
|
By:
Agree about the inplay markets. Plenty looking to back KK at HT at 2.3 - 2.5 on here, yet 7/4 with PP and 15/8 with B356.

Who do you think got MOTM ?
it will be announced on the Sunday Game. I think CANNING gets it because of his last gasp free to draw the match...and because he scored something like 1-09 Other than that I think Iarla Tannian had an unreal game. |

Shefflin gets MOTM imo
