We had the thread from richters about GAA players playing other sports after the ban on foreign sports was abolished in 1971.
Dave Barrry springs to mind.........he kept it lit at both ends..........I remember his great battles with Colm Coyle..........It was probably easier then as the soccer season was not during the summer months.
Any others?

Mick Deegan, who won a All-Ireland with the Dubs played a bit of soccer. Dunno if LOI, but he deffo played up north with Crusaders
Billy Dennehy who plays for Shamrock Rovers won an All Ireland minor medal with Kerry in 2004.
He played for UCD and then was Shamrock rovers top scorer in his first season for them. He cost Rovers £25000 at the time and bailed off to play football with a year left on his contract.
