Duly won after early morning support but this is the enigma that is Fran Berry .......Some will say it was a great ride and some will say he got away with it .....for me its was a very poor ride and he was lucky to win it after getting himself in trouble

im not sure it was a bad ride,..he got boxed in..and when he got out the horse took a while to respond?..i still thought welds had won
 i have to say i like him ..he won so thats all that will be rememberd i think..but if you are saying it was abad ride co,s he got himself boxed in?. |

I am not a big fan of Fran Berry but it was an excellent ride.

I don't like being down on a jockey but that was one he got away with,he did everything wrong but the filly rescued him.
In the previous three races the winners challenged on the outside and swept past,Berry tracked Supernovae on the inside allowed himself get boxed in had nowhere to go for a bit,then in an exaggerated manoeuvre barged out causing the filly to become momentarily to be unbalanced and was a lucky man to get up,Grandma Dotty was far and away the best filly in the race. |
