well done to tommy- group 3 at the curragh with ursa major and just denied in the ebor with royal diamond. looking at the racingpost he was out of the training game from 2005 until this year, so a great comeback. Anyone fill in the blanks on what he was doing or why tinkler decided to send him his horses?

a couple of shrewdies on the racing forum reckon murtagh is trainig them....they are trained in his yard at the curragh...

Training is excellent. Judgement of fit and proper person is poor. |

I am in a small minority on this one but feel Lynch was blckguarded by the BHA and hard done by,glad to see this excellent rider on the rise again.

Each to their own and I know you give benefit of doubt to jockeys as is your right.
I don't believe Lynch should ever have been allowed to ride a horse for payment again. |

There is one disquieting fact about Fergal Lynch,one that is completely out of his control,his brother is the main on course man for Ladbrokes in Ireland and their prices on course reflect this.

pity jp murtagh wasnt fit to ride in york as they would have landen a fantastic across the card double. no disrespect to niall mc but murtagh a much stronger jock.

stewards on both sides of irish sea very reluctant to reverse placings these days for some reason. at least they are being consistent about it which is fair enough.
