So here we go again, the Irish equivalent of the running with the bulls, our San Ferme.

Tonight i had the displeasure to watch what i can only describe as disgusting and in truth fairly gut wrenching, this was not because of the digs that were been thrown our the bottles that were been smashed over an individuals head, it was the reality of the filth that we have in this country.
The story would entail a group of students enjoying their night out having a few drinks and getting a bit goosed, we have all been there, i will be there Saturday night but the wrath that was about to come their way.

These kids were set upon by what i can only describe as filth, this group of three or four lads were set upon by ten or twelve boys and girls, digs, bottles the whole nine yards ensued, thing is the scumbags were in for some surprise. As they laid into these lads who in fairness taking some pummeling but they were standing their ground and not running away, news must have come across to their mates and out of nowhere 30-40 of their friends were on the scene.
The scumbags who were not out enjoying their leaving or having a nice stroll through town, they had picked on the wrong group. These lads beat the living sh!te out of them and i swear to god they deserved everything they got.

The usual girls were there screaming to leave him alone and what not, the female scumbag (the worst kind)who were also laying into these students earlier.

Then the usual ten minute delay before we had any police intervention, late as usual eh boys??

My question is why are none of ye on patrol or why is there never a sign of ye in the city centre at night time??

Come Friday or Saturday at 1 or 2 bells there is not a copper in sight, it is every man for himself.

Knowing that there is CCTV on most streets why is there such a delay in the arrival of the boys in blue.

What i would love is if we got some of our Polish lads into police the situation and let them use heir batons as freely as they like. We need a no nonsense approach, you step out of line you get a kicking, in truth the lads who police the streets in this country fall short of the mark for me.

Anyway the scumbags that started this will more than likely be out in an hour and they are surely the age to draw the dole so tomorrow should be nice for them.

The cycle continues until we change it.

What a delightful story.  You advocate getting 'goosed' and then call for no-nonsense police brutality to sort out the ensuing street violence.  With a role model like you is it any wonder our youth quickly find their way into the gutter?

Goosed must be a new word for getting drunk,Goalhanger does not advocate getting drunk(more misrepresentation on your behalf) just acknowledges it happens,he also qualifies it by saying a little bit.

Part of me quite enjoyed that story i must say Happy

Cops are a joke in this country, they need to arrive to scenes like this in snatch squads, where they can go in and take the troublemakers away.

I would have no issues with Poles or other foreign nationals being in the police force here, but they won't get in because they father was not a cop or played gaelic for the county.
