LOL
However , 'normal' in RTE isn't terribly enticing. P.S. Anyone know what the drinks bill came to ? |

Was this an in house celebration ?
Have wondered for over 50 years as to whether RTE represented the views of middle Ireland or just a specific small coterie of Dublin based administrators . Particularly as regards sport , soccer seemed to be the priority interest , including Man U et al . My jury is still out . |

A spokesman has confirmed that RTE represents the views of "Pale" Ireland, in fact for a small number of staff looking further than Lansdowne Rd or the National Yacht club in Dun Laoghaire is not within their compass. In fact it takes a large cheque book to shift some of the staff he confirmed.
Further questioned he confirmed the real Olympics ended for RTE with the elimination of Annalise Murphy. It is expected the drinks and make up bill and cost of those hair dos (and that's only the men) will finally speed up the D.G. to action though like the government it may take some years yet!!!!! |

R.T.E is'nt as bad as tv3 when it comes to representing the views of IRELAND .TV3 were doing the papers one morning and they read out an article on the fact that after bills MOST families have only 100 euro A MONTH to spend apart from bills!! You could have heard a pin drop with their fake concern, alan hughes he's the worst. He probably never set foot out of dublin in his life.

You forgot to mention no-won-sun that Jimmy Magee and Marty Morrissey were proudly displaying their hyberbole Gold and Silver medals for the most biased commentary ever witnessed at an Olympic games, some of the British contingent believe the judges were got at?, but their appeals fell on deaf ears.
