Boxing and soccer. They say a lot of boxing is in the brain and the feet, the same can be said for soccer. So many have been good at both sports, Steve Collins good and related to loads of decent players, Katie Taylor an international footballer, Michael Conlon plated the game well and has a cousin a leading player in the LOI, Paddy Barnes JJ Nevin loved soccer and loads more like them loved playing both sports. The training is similar tomorrow.

The main relationship is that sportspeople are usually talented across a range of sports. Such levels of coordination transfer themselves between sports. Matthew Macklin is a talented hurler and I've played soccer with Rob Kearney when we are about 16 and he was brilliant with the the round ball.
