I think it was beat at the time and was similar effort to its last run at Kilbeggan. Though I have to say Ruby has being poor this week. Gave Welds a great ride on the first day but that apart some poor rides. The two that stick out are the two Willie Mullins trained horses owned by the Supreme syndicate. In both cases ridden too far back. Not Rubys best week

Hard to blame Ruby there considering he is in hospital.
Hard to blame Victress Gale considering she wants good ground.

amazing walsh can ride with a broken ankle, a modern day marvel.
Report slickster August 3, 2012 9:13 PM BST
VICTRIX gale should have been pulled out IF she wants "good ground".
but this is martin isn't it... and why ruby associates himself with this person is quite unbelieveable.
but as fitzy would say.... "thar you goooooooooo".

That Victress Gale wants good ground is only my opinion, she seemed to be floundering on the ground, she is also by Presenting.

Slickster they're all the same, as they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, every single one of them pull strokes.
Report slickster August 3, 2012 9:35 PM BST
some more than others silver....
pity someone within the sport can't at least try to straighten it out....even a little eh???

Not a hope slickster, all one big happy family compounded by a mostly silent and complicit media, interesting to see if these Indecon recommendations make any difference?, see anaglogs thread ref Galway races.
Report slickster August 3, 2012 10:04 PM BST
yeah good stuff as always from anaglogs. pointless hoping the government can do anything.
we need someone with a lot of backbone to somehow sort this mess out. rotten from top to bottom. an overhaul is needed... and quick!

Hard for Ruby to be riding the horse when hes stood down with concussion and suspected broken ankle after the fall on Drive Time...He was poor on Zuzka and Letherbelucky,2 mares i think will have big futures but sure look..We all make mistakes
Report punchestown August 4, 2012 11:29 AM BST
Letherbelucky never jumped lads and indeed bumped the rail and lost ground just after the winning post first time, the horse semi-put down at several hurdles afterwards and was beaten by Tugboat (getting 2 lbs) who was a better horse on the day, harsh to say he could have done any better.

My opinion on AJM (& CB for that matter) are that they are bad for anybody who is not privy to whether their charges are "off" or not.
