Their sole sports story tonight after various news items was a Tour de France (I was on the edge of my seat with excitement....) story about a guy being drugs tested. Nothing at all about Shamrock Rovers playing in the Champions League which went ahead tonight.

sad but not a shock,if an english club were playing they would given the latest score.
Think of a few adjectives below 'pathetic' and 'abject' and you are describing RTE sport ...and indeed RTE in general.
Fully agree, so so poor for years now. Stories which were news 24-hours before seem to get a run when it's old news. Rather watch Sky all the time...
To be honest RTE would be the last place I would go to for an update on any sporting event.
