Agree Tony will appreciate the better ground,the one for the forecast is Greenbelt Star as he will love the drying ground.
The nap for me is Man Of Erin in the 7.30.Johnny Murtagh fell asleep on him last time and should have won.
IF Flying The Flag is any use at all he should win the 6.30 as the two previous winners are v

Reglisse ran some race first time out and now returning with the extra experience should win.
The 8.30 should go to the well bred Salum Alaykum,think he will improve from that last run in Leopardstown,his trainer Reginald Roberts loves a gamble so I expect him to shorten,my sneaky outsider in the race is Alghanem I liked his Dundalk run.

heading over shortly , have layed bogini in the first... will take it from there ,have a look at them in the paddock and back my own judgement....will leave before the last so a little bit e/w oilily in the last , maybe frank will have the right price for me...

A few to lay tonight.

Race 1) Bogini 3.45 Now 3. Never heard of this trainer Michael O'Callaghan. I see it's won in the UK twice. Usually a weaker type of race over there.

Race 2) Flying The Flag 3.2 Price collapsing now. 2.74 Usually AP has them under cooked on Day 1 so hopefully the penalised runners are up to it.

Race 3) Sharkayla 3.2 A spare ride for McCullagh as it looks like Johnny must be suspended.

Race 4) Man Of Erin 3 This could be a costly day for Johnny missing another jolly. Short enough for a handicap but most of the rest are out of form.

Race 5) Stocktons Wing 5.3 Charles O'Brien had a rake of jollys turned over at the weekend. Let's hope the run continues.

Race 6) Salam Alaykum 6.8 Now 5.7 This would be a rare winner for the veteran jockey John Egan who once upon a time rode for the bould Mik O'

Race 7) Dare To Doubt 2.34 Now 2.54. Short enough for a competitive heat.

This is the first thread I have posted on in ages with no replies from the self styled Batman and the Boy Wonder,that is their pet names for each other Never Give Up and Rocketfingers,both feeling sick at the moment.

well done wildman , smashing stuff , that what makes this place my first port of call....
i had a nightmare myself ...layed the first fav before i even left home not like me i might add ....looked at it in the paddock andwas happy i'd layed it ...on its toes from the word go ...i knew my fate as soon as the stalls opened ..i was hoping to get this fav beaten for stamina ..i dont know the time of the race but they seemed to crawl ...the fav was never tested imo...i spent a lot of time looking at the fillies in the next race...both pre parade and in the ring...i was very taken with the obrien winner and backed her at 13/8 with carty..she was cool and calm and was nearly asleep at times as she walked around ...a fine big filly easily the biggest in the field...not fully tuned up imo , she really impressed me both physically and when asked to pick up the bolger horse with her attitude ...although her head carriage left something to be desired i'm sure it was just greeness... i think she could be a bit special this year ....then the madness set in ..the next race  again the one who really took my eye was snow queen a lovely filly ...all her connections were present and she looked the part ..plus the money came for her ...i thought the fav was a very plain looker, but had run a very promising race fto..a quick glance at both the oreilly horse and off out to ring ..i backed snow queen at 4/6 ...i was so disgusted i never even waited to back oilily ....a note to self ..do NOT try to buy money ...

Her wins other than a Downpatrick win were all on soft/heavy ground. The conditions the previous day suited her much more but she was out fought by a very useful type.

Bassanio,presume you are talking about Dare to doubt? She was beat coming into the straight and the form was turned around by approx. 30l with oilily.Don,t know what was wrong with her but she seemed almost legless coming up to the line.(i thought her stride pattern looked wrong in the late stages but thats open to interpretation)

Have to agree she ran terrible talking through my pocket, 1st impressions i didnt tink it was Patrick riding. check out his ride in Gowran on a winner and on DTD.....

Just suppose she had an off day,hacked up there.
