Just the 1 game live today.
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 3:39 PM BST
I fancy Donegal, seem to be playing a more offensive style of football these days and that Tyrone side has a lot of miles n the clock.
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 3:47 PM BST
Actually looking foward to seeing my first live game of the stuff in months !
Report RamonSanchezPizjuan June 30, 2012 3:57 PM BST
Who is on the frees for Donegal, Michael Murphy over 4.5 points at evens?
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 5:34 PM BST
Second half can only get better to be fair, still fancy Donegal.
Report BJG June 30, 2012 5:36 PM BST
Aye, even tho they are behind, id fancy Donegal to win it! 2nd half cant be any worse is right!
Report Pre-Fat-Low-Fat-Foods June 30, 2012 5:37 PM BST
Absolute muck this football sh!te
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 5:49 PM BST
Ref is poor enough, i think he's from Meath?
Report BJG June 30, 2012 6:07 PM BST
Good save there - This is some rubbish to watch tho
Report p_r_e_m_i_e_r__f_a_n_t_a_s_y June 30, 2012 6:10 PM BST
phew Laugh was worried there at the end, these close finishes are doing nothing for my health
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 6:21 PM BST
Bogballlllllllllllllllll, was a great save to be fair at the end. I love betting the ball of the bog, should be more live games on, the supporters are fanatical and do what bogball masters in Croke park direct them to so they will go to the game the rest of us can sit back an watch it on tv. They're a little like a cult but just not as open minded.
Report GANT007 June 30, 2012 6:42 PM BST
It's a pity John Delaney didn't direct more to go to the loi games...........it's just a way of life for us Irish........pride in the parish and pride in your county.
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 7:13 PM BST
I guess we're the ones the were never brain washed by the bog ball rulers/church, although in your case gant i'm not sure what was there to wash Laugh
Report GANT007 June 30, 2012 7:23 PM BST
U lads sat back, blamed others and blew the cash........others kicked on.........Bet u wished someone brainwashed ye.
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 7:26 PM BST
No i'm glad i have my own mind gant, banning people because they liked a different sport, telling people they are more Irish than people who wanted to play rugby or soccer or some other sport. Imagine telling Brian O'Driscoll you're not Irish lol. No thanks but i'm happy you're happy getting that drilled into you and not thinking for yourself.
Report GANT007 June 30, 2012 7:32 PM BST
Thank God some of us have come a long way and got over it......41 years is enough time to get over anything.
It works well in our country now but a few hang on to the old chestnut.......you lads in your mid fifties are not for changing and I don't expect u to.
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 7:35 PM BST
41 years ya right keeping yourself that LaughWink
Report GANT007 June 30, 2012 7:38 PM BST
I googled 'the ban' and it said 1971 it ended.
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 7:46 PM BST
That should say 'officially' !
Report GANT007 June 30, 2012 7:51 PM BST
Brian O'Driscoll played GAA as did alot of the current squad........Many of Irish soccer lads played at a decent level and return home in the summer to support their county..........You die hards keep the league down.
Report wildmanfromborneo June 30, 2012 10:33 PM BST
How you could expect the confused Rocketfingers to understand the concept of parish and county when he is not sure where he is from,I think he is a foreigner. He has been caught out in his pretence about being from Sligo,he is now from Dublin, his vivid memories of the ban show he is an old timer, his references to his nieces and nephews show he is without issue, thank God.
You can learn plenty about a poster by their posts, this will drive some posters mad as they hate this concept but they will see in this case I have called it right.
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 10:48 PM BST
Wildbore, i've learned from you, you know nothing about racing. You did not even know there was a race after the BC classic, a non BC race until i informed you. As from being from x, y and Z any of the lads on here that will know me will confirm i'm a Sligo man and a successful one at that old chap.
Report wildmanfromborneo June 30, 2012 10:57 PM BST
You hardly even heard of Yeats and then misspelt it and in an indignant reply claiming innocence you misspelt it again, definitely not from Sligo.
My guess is you were born in England but returned here with your parents to Dublin where you still live alone, you are more than like a pensioner with a Walter Mitty personality.
Report Rocketfingers June 30, 2012 11:03 PM BST
I live alone with my parents or i'm a pensioner that lives alone, ffs make up your mind you baboon.
Report wildmanfromborneo June 30, 2012 11:14 PM BST
You lived with your parents most of your life but now are alone,it screams out of every pathetic post you make.

You seem to be getting on with LittleSuzieLays, personal messages flying so good luck but this time don't tell her lies you always get caught out.

The OP seems to be a pretty sad individual. Pops up on nearly every thread even though he appears to have very little if any knowledge on any subject, he's then either ridiculed or completely blanked and yet he still comes back for more. What a sad little life, pathetic is right.
Report Rocketfingers July 1, 2012 12:19 AM BST
Dazza Laugh Remind why were you banned again?
Report daradasi July 1, 2012 12:33 AM BST
Never banned Tubbsy, haven't actually even looked at this site in probably over a year but goodness me some things never change. Get a life man, get a job even (are you employable, doubt it), CES scheme maybe? anything, can't believe you're still here spouting the same rubbish day in day out. Sad, pathetic, tragic.
Report Rocketfingers July 1, 2012 10:39 AM BST
Is it just Kildare and Meath on live today or Dublin on as well?
Report GANT007 July 1, 2012 10:46 AM BST
Dublin live.....Massive crowd expected at HQ.
Report Rocketfingers July 1, 2012 11:04 AM BST
TBH i would have thought it was a full house job today. Pretty much all home games for all bar Wexford.
Report GANT007 July 1, 2012 11:11 AM BST
It could be a bigger crowd than the Spain/Italy game and thats a final.

Report GANT007 July 1, 2012 6:50 PM BST
I will be a barstooler in a few minutes for the soccer........the place is hopping after todays unexpected win.
It will be the same for the Sligo people if they can topple Mayo.......Nice to see traditional football beat a well drilled handpassing machine.

Rocked up to my contact at my local club today and he wanted 35 Eur a piece for a ticket for the connacht final. I could have got a ticket to see Iniesta, Xavi and co for the same amount more or less. Not being smart but rip f Ireland is still alive and well in some places.
Report kavvie July 10, 2012 11:05 PM BST
was that the geals club rocket?a high powered official!?!?..sure you know the answer...dont go.mind your 35e for a  meaningless friendly in the aviva next november in the cold!!..they will be 70e for a seat.
Report Rocketfingers July 10, 2012 11:12 PM BST
Kavvie tell me the last time the FAI had 70 Eur tickets for a friendly? They're bad but they're not that bad.
Report kavvie July 10, 2012 11:43 PM BST
65e i vaguely remember a misguided workmate telling me he paid for a ticket to some meaningless friendly or other a few yr ago?
Report Rocketfingers July 10, 2012 11:45 PM BST
Now it's 65, they have not had a friendly priced at 65 either, get your facts straight before you come on insanely defending your cult because of the sky high prices they are trying to charge to a match that is the round before the quarters.
Report kavvie July 10, 2012 11:51 PM BST
i assumed if he paid 65 there was dearer prices?..after all trap has to be paid and they gotta get it somewhere!!?.my cult?!wow.strong are you on the wine by any chance?the game you refer to is a provincial final.its 35e to the covered stand.terrace tickets are 20 and 15e.reasonable im sure you will agree?the winners will be 2 steps away from the greatest show on earth every year... the all ireland final!!
Report Rocketfingers July 10, 2012 11:53 PM BST
Oh gawd i can't believe people like you exist still.
Report kavvie July 10, 2012 11:55 PM BST
i do, and exist very well thanks.goodnite.
Report wildmanfromborneo July 11, 2012 12:03 AM BST
This thread is more proof you are not from Sligo, only a Dub would be so dismissive of a Connacht Final.
Report Rocketfingers July 11, 2012 12:09 AM BST
You don't know the history of Sligo do you? I just think it's a huge price to pay for a final of a 5 team tournemant to get into the quarter final.
Report GANT007 July 11, 2012 1:35 PM BST
You can knock Irish sports and sports people all you want but at the end of the day people will not go if they feel it's too dear.......It's not often Sligo get a big stage don't knock the efforts of these amateur lads that will have do a days graft on Monday.....maybe tuesday if they win..........Next you will be telling us Sligo Rovers are meeting half way and training in Athlone.............I am sure some of the Sligo Rovers players could be there on Sunday as many neutrals will attend.
Report Rocketfingers July 11, 2012 2:29 PM BST
God Gant please point out where i knocked anything bar the pricing for this match? You lads surely are not that blind to see 35 pound for this game is mental or else that public servant number you have pays too much. 20 to 25 Eur in these times would be spot on, too expensive for the working class.

Report Rocketfingers July 11, 2012 6:41 PM BST
You know he may have just done his sums wrong, he actually had not collected them so i'm back down tomorrow at lunch time to get them off him as it was me who wanted to pay him then, but he said fix me up when you collect them so i'd say it will be 60 in total. I'm looking forward to it, cheering on my home county, the magpies.
Report squigs July 11, 2012 7:00 PM BST
