The great race starts tomorrow lads.
Bookies have it as a 2 horse race, Wiggins vs Evans. Wiggins looks very short, even if the course suits him and he has had a stellar year.
Have thrown a few quid on Gessink at 55s and Van Den Broek at 26s for interest.
Any views?

It looks a 2 horse race is right,1/2 coupled is probably value with Schleck out.
I think Sammy Sanchez looks a big price at 8/1 to win mountain classification. |

Frank Schleck is overpriced. No Andy, no Contador, Schleck might snaeak a place if he can limit the damage in time trials. When it comes to the long Alps climbs, he's the strongest climber in the field.

I thought I heard something about Frank Schleck coming back from injury or not having a good preparation or some negative or other. Might explain the price.

From an Irish context, Dan Martin will be aiming to win a stage and it wouldn't be the greatest surprise if he does on of the more lumpier stages. He'll be a price too as this is such a strong field. Don't forget his stage win last year at the Vuelta as well as his efforts in the Tour of Poland.
