8.00 one fine day won well lto at listowel im hopefull that she,ll do well now going handicaping 9.05 dare to doubt she is a decent mare but thats jumping..although she did win her bumper and ran in a listed bumper so she could be well in here
Gong to have a decent each way bet on princess Highway tomorrow at 13/2, I think her maiden win was a good performance and Mordin rated it very highly. Betterbetterbetter has done ok and Harrington's in third is thought of as a curragh Oaks horse and has come out and won a maiden well at leopardstown having been well supported and with jessie's horses possibly being under a cloud at the time.
She'd Was a good bit behind her in the Blue Wind and while it would be folly to take that completely literally, I'd say she was value for more than the winning distance as she idled just a bit when hitting the front. Weld will have brought her on nice and gradually and whatever happens I'm nearly sure she'll run her best ever race tomorrow.
despite being by Street Cry, she should get the trip well enough and presumably she is here because Weld reckons she is up to this level, this race is typically won by a Groiup 1 filly and I think she'll take this en route to the Irish Oaks.
Ladbrokes are best price 13/2 at the minute.

Fascinating puzzle that 9.05,quite decent nh horses dare to doubt, oilily and dancing tornado all rated around 140, i,d dismiss the last named on recent form and age.Dare to doubts 13l off quevaga and oilily,s 6l off get me out of here makes good reading.Add in Missunited,s who was contesting listed bumpers before an eye catching maiden hur win at killarney recently. The one i,d be most intereted in however is whatever jack says,a winner 3m heavy at punch and more recently at Cork over 2 1/2m where he beat Capellanus 14l(dare to doubt beat capellanus 3l giving 7lb last nov)Think WJS is fairly underestimated, the running style last twice had him setting a strong pace, leading and quickening off it.(Broke cry for the moons heart at Cork). If similar tactics adopted tonight, while i hate going against you tony he,d be the one i,ll be on,the forecast rain would be a bonus.GL

Done Takar @ 11/8 doubled with Sparta Maestro (Irish Greyhound Derby). He won well on soft ground at the Curragh in a listed race before stepping way up in grade to run in the Irish 2000, he wasn't beaten all that far in that and the drop back to listed class should help on ground he handles.

Well done Neill d some write up,some performance, some price and once the in form Tony57 was on board it became almost inevitable. I like Pedro The Great in the first ran him in a hot race first time out and sure to come on in Gale Force Ten fashion, one caveat he would not like soft ground on breeding. In the last i fancy Smithfield a genuine flat horse running against National Hunt horses his Curragh run is good enough for me and shows despite being by Cape Cross goes on any ground.

Nice one neill d, wasn't going to back anything in that race until I seen your write up, backed at 13/2 returned at 17/2 ... happy days, thanks again and well done!

Did her with Powers in the end lads, I'd to do it in the morning as I'd a few bits and pieces to do early afternoon. Delighted lads, been a tough few months and that helped an awful lot, missed Tony's post but it would definitely have given more confidence as he is banging them in. Cheers lads, going to just watch and enjoy the Gold Cup now.

Cheers workrider, after a good dante meeting I've been a bit on oxygen since, if he's anything of what they thought he was he should really win that. Oxx has always sounded like he rated him and I was quietly impressed with his run in the Tetrarch, v.classy on the ground that day.

What a race, one of the great Gold Cups as the first 3 should all be around for a while. It might be wrong to ask F&G to do any more now, what a horse he has been. On efor Frankie over the kid as well. Saddlers should win this next year if we are to believe Oxx about the ground.

They weren't going quick enough at all for him, thought that would suit F&G, reading dettori and yer man Peter Thomas in the RP last saturday, he really needed this as things were definitely getting to him. F&G had enough? or would ye think he could come back on Champions Day? He'd probably want slightly better ground, but he'd be a big strong horse at this stage, surely he should go through it, he'd be entitled to be a bit sour and beating Unaccompanied narrowly over 1m6f doesnt look so great now.

he's been on the go a long time now neill , he's been a great servant to them ...the hays would be hoping to stand him at stud i'd imagine and were hoping to cement his status as the next yeats ...sadly that wont happen now ...the horse has nothing to prove imo..an irish derby winner and gold cup winner .....hope he does well when he does eventually go to stud....

I'm looking at smithfield here as well wildman, if he was fit and ready to roll I could definitely see him taking this, they'll crawl and as you say he should do them for toe.

Angel Way in the fillies maiden is interesting to me as well, she looked like she was trying fto so hopefully they'll carry on with that. i think the Coolmore horse would be shorter if she really was something and the Stack runner has had plenty of chances.

Neill i,ll be very surprised if Whateverjacksays doesn,t set a strong pace, have a quick look at his last two races. You might be right but I really don,t think they,ll crawl.

Race 1) Wexford Opera 1.61. Now 2.58. Up against an O'Brien improver obviously.
Race 2) Strandfield Lady 3.2 Had to go out to this from 2.8 10 5 in weight in this ground would be a good performance.
Race 3) Circle 3.4 Disconcertingly stubborn this one. Must be primed to go in on its debut as I thought it would be out to 3/1 plus by now.
Race 4) Takar 1.9 Looks like the stable companion is going to give him a good lead as it is now 1.77
Race 5) One Fine Day 2.84 Won in similar ground at Listowel. Just hoping that handicap debut catches it out.
Race 6) Man Of Erin 3.4 I thought it was a bit tight. Now 3.75
Race 7) Whatever Jacksays 4.8 A fair price. I am always against a bad flat horse against a good NH horse in thease type of races. I know Smithfield is a bad example as it's on its seasonal debut and most of the good ones are NH bred tonight.

nicely done Takar, anyone have any oppinions on Elusive Kate in the Coronation tomorrow?, she loves a bit of cut (well I've heard Gosden say she does anyway) and she is fresh in that she hasn't run since last season. I'm not sure why that is. I'd hope it was because she went to the Breeders Cup. One caveat I'd add is that I remember Willie Carson saying when he saw her at Longchamp that she looked a real 2yo, so i'd worry whether she'd train on, but she has won her Group 1 so I doubt Gosden would have kept her in till now unless she was showing something.
This crop of fillies look very average indeed and with the ground hopefully coming in her favour, i'm going to back her e/w at 8's tomorrow.

always going to have the measure of the second there who has just run into one after being unlucky lto, very easy as you say, plenty of races for her next season novice and mares hurdles, great programme in Ireland for the likes of her.

If she is a proper Group 1 filly, she'd nearly have to be in the 3 here, I think she has changed hands so that explains Peslier. the last should be interesting at Leopardstown, that is some strike rate Tony has in the last few months, going to just watch myself.

Don't be too down tone as you done well and will bounce bak wit another winner 2moro, although I'd say Dare to Doubt must have gone short there as it looked to be goin to go by
