Different ball game from last week as this will be a birdie bonanza. Can get strange results after a tough mental week like last week but will have a tickle at a few anyhow.

Defending champ Freddie Jacobson, 15th last week and two top 30's previous weeks before. 34's win & place.

Padraig three top 10's in US this year including an unlucky T4th in US Open previous week, finished tied 5th here 2010, these birdie fests tend not to suit Pod as much as the grinders courses, but he's a winner in waiting, so have to stick with him, though the weeks of getting 70/80's on here are over at the minute, only 22 on here. Win only, early tee time tommorow so will also chance first round leader at 25's with PP ew.

just one bet for bubba watson won this back in 2010,the course will suit him much better than last week,so at around 24/1 will be worth a few quid, have to say much rather the really touch courses than theses birdie fests, any views on the bmw deplasterer?was 1/2 thinking of doing kaymer but not really a big fan of his so decided to leave it alone, might do a couple of picks on saturday,

Was impressed with Micheal Thompson last week - small nibble at 60/1 and some on John Peterson at 125/1 both ew

Dont like gettin overly involved the week after majors

Im the BMW - Kaymer 7/1 Shocked Think thats a horrendous price

Think we could get a turn up

Where can we buy the tapes of this afterwards?

No real views Huddys on BMW. Kaymer will be hard to beat but price reflects that, if gun to head I would go for R Sterne as he has been playin well this past month but will get an easier oppurtunity than this, Austria or somewhere simmilar later on in summer. GL with your bets though.

Ha! only realised heading, all in blackie connors.Laugh

Hooks should be of the snap not the slash variety.

They have vacated the site in Athlone so the 3rd day must be on in some other club, they seemed anxious to get this 3rd day started as well as they got a GARDA escort outta the town, and Blackie was still leading the way...........

Blackie Connors gets an invite to Augusta next year if he can just hang on here.  The Patrons won't know what hit them when he demands grazing for a few hosses.

Paddy starting to show some consistent form. Badly needed, with the countries worst month, in the history of sport.

Not sure about that we had a great Ascot but would love to see Harrington win and go on to win another Open.

Poor Charley, completely blew it late on.

Another good week for Pod, never quite got it going today after making a mess of the first Par 5.
