iknow the trainer of castlerock rose personally and i was talking to him this morning and he said the horse will be trying his heart out and he is as fit as he can get him. and with ruby on board thats surely a plus and hes an each way bet to nothing in my opinion.
i also have benn looking through the rest of the card and i think byrnes should have a winner or two also. well see how castlerock gets on first before i back anyting else. |

Know her day was supposed to have been in Thurles(i think) where she was taken out because of the ground.Even her last run wasn,t bad as she travelled well up to the later stages.Dan said the same to my brother so you probably know him as he lives there.Small world
.As an aside be nice to see him(Dan) get off the mark. |

ya it would be great for him imo he deserves it. i have been good friends with him for a while and have backed alot of his horse in points and ive won a good bit backing his horses on his advice. hes a shrewd operator i can tell you that much. and another ya that day in thurles i had him backed big had a few winners before hand so lobbed da lot on and i couldnt believe it wen he got pulled out. it was only lyk an hour before the race 8 horses actually pulled out of that race on the day within two hours before the race and i was told the ground was bottomless and they shouldnt have even been racing on the day anyway.

pa,+ adyc18, I think I know the man Rohan you refer to. Is he the guy that supplies Oats for the horses from a yard outside Midleton town centre, as I often went up there with a few of my horsey buddies to get oats, which they said was the best oats in the country for the racing horse. A family steeped in horse racing, thats if I have the right people.I have seen that Castlerock run on ATR and I think Davy Rustle has ridden it, but I wouldn't get too carried away with her, limited and a bit short of pace imho. What I would say about this opener is, if you had anything here with a small bit up your sleeve today would be the day to leave off the hand-brake, afew likely are BJG's, C A Murph's,and Davy Rustle's, this is a poor race

Jay,i couldn,t tell ya,i,m originally from the city, nearest i get to Midleton is Lisgoold ptp if i,m over and its on around new year, adyc will know.
Only the brother ringing(he knows nothing about horses)he asked me what i thought, told him don,t go mad and do him ew.Can,t disagree with what you said above and if she doesn,t do any good today, forget about her.I,d say half the town will be on. |

Well hope she wins, or at least place for them, nice to see the smaller trainers get a turn, top man Ruby up and in top form after a treble Sunday

Boxer beat is red raw useless. Been laying him a fair bit. Bet of the night is catch me. 9/4 was some value for a 1/2 chance. :)

i know its boring lads but im backing champagne agent,..its the only thing i fancy tonight..although wolf hall has attracted a lot of money during the last 24hrs..
|
|
By:
Fancy Champagne Agent in the maiden, glad to see he heads the market, the trip, hurdles and the fact that Ruby finally can take over are all positives to me. ruby would have rode against Shrapnel in a maiden hurdle over Christmas and if I see him shorten further I might have a little more on. CA was very well thought of early on and as said earlier that Cork win in a 2m3f Bumper was a step in the right direction. Trip should suit well on the back of that, Killarney being sharp enough.

if that trainer thought castlerock rose was as fit as he could get it then he may stop entering it because it was the first horse beat.....

Very disappointing, seemed to have things in her favour as well.

I've had a tip for Caolaneoin in the opening beginners and he lucks a chasing type, strong traveller so the trip should be ok.
anyone got any strong oppinions on Carlito Brigante, he's by a flat sire but elliot seems to have always regarded him a chasing type. I thought he'd be even shorter in the betting if they really fancied him. Linnel is a strong traveller and the course should suit, walsh is booked so is that a pointer that he is off? I haven't been too impressed with him lately but i thought he might wind up a bit better than 116. |

TIP neilld i think someone was pulling ur leg mate....

Yeah seems so doesn't it, he was way too free and then he seemed to clout one and that was that. the horse has had plenty of races and still hasn't learned to settle.

richters the horse is absolutely thrown in on ts best form of last season, 2nd at Galway festival off 83 then 2nd at Curragh off 85, ran off 88 for its next 3 runs (down the field), basically since the 21st of Oct the horse has dropped an incredible 24lb!, only Barney Curley horses are known to drop that quick in the space of around 6 months, no wonder connections are confident.
Oh btw, Eamonn has never stopped training this horse, his daughters training licence is just a smokescreen, a loophole that was exploited. |
