Good morning Tony,As Mullins had multiple entries in the 5.50 dp,it was a race i was keeping an eye on.Anyway he left Maggie Connelly in.I,d be very happy with her form prior(Abou Ben run And 3l off Knockfierna in particular) to her last two fairly poorish runs in quite classy handicaps. At around the 11/4 mark took a chance and didn,t read much into her last runs. If a horse is a good thing then surely it has a better than 8/11 chance of winning? Why would 8/11 then put you off?

theres no value in the price..a good thing is a figure of speech..its just a opinion..when i look to back a horse i still want some value..if he was evens..i,d be interested..on form it should take the beating..the form of the yard also..but racing is not that easy..but by the way you framed your question..you must think punting is about backing anything you think is a good thing never mind the price?

yes pa,..i just dont like the horse..i know its run in stronger races..and it was backed in one of them..its form lately puts me off..but i can see why you would follow it..just not for me today..good luck,
i can pass on a word for the henderson bumper runner 5.05..related to a nice sort who won a bumper..recent gallop reports from lambourn say its shown up well |

Tony, Henderson's bumper runner was owned by the Queen. I was just wondering if you had a source at Buckingham Palace?

Good thing is a nonsense statement then and should not be used by an otherwise successful tipster as it belittles the rest of the statements.

Stop nit picking and f eck off.

The careful poster who checks and rechecks everything but still misspelt his user name has some cheek telling a knowledgrable poster to feck off.

tony57 is a very good poster and has a solid knowledge of the game. I am pointing out that good thing is betting shop talk and is inappropriate. Everything should be evaluated based on price etc to determine whether it is a bet. Good thing means absolutely nothing.
The only problem with tony57 threads is that they give free advice to people like the penultimate poster, who offers nothing himself. I must stress that I do not put pa lapsy anywhere close to that bracket as he is a very good poster himself. |
