There's more chance of me knitting fog,it's just not going to happen,
1.When was the last time AOB won a british Classic?his horses are continually overhyped.
2.When was the last time a Montjeu won a Group 1 over a Mile at the age of 3?answers on a postcard please.
3.Young Joseph is a decent young jockey but he will be found wanting in the big races this season,mark my words!
a huge operation like Coolmore need a World Class jockey,not a young kid learning his trade.
any Camelot backers out there just come to me and you can have whatever price you want (win only) for any amount you want,He just cannot win this race.Thank me tomorrow,hopefully ive managed to change a lot of you're minds out there,you will thank me tomorrow when he's beat,i'll even tell you where he will finish,

Answer to question 1: Simple really, the horses were'nt good enough, if Camelot wins tomorrow its probably because the horse was good enough (or fit?), I do agree on the hype factor though.
Aiden is no genius just a horse trainer. Answer to question 2: Well considering he's now deceased not too many chances to buck that trend, but still remains only a statistic with very little in the way of sound proof, like for instance how many Montjeu's have actually tried it?. As for Joseph?, decent jockey fortunate to have everything handed to him on a plate something other young aspiring jockeys with similar ability can only dream of. Comes down to what I've always argued if the horse is good enough any half decent jockey would win on him if they just keep it simple and don't over complicate things. Name me a world class jockey who hasn't messed up a Group one race at least once in their lives?, in fact its these so called world class jockeys who are just as likely to make a balls of it through arrogance and cockiness. |

if the horse is good enough they should take the race by the scruff of the neck and try win it from the front,but i can guarantee you young joseph will have him held up towards the back of the field,he will then try weave his way through the field with 2 furlongs to go,but the bird will have flown by then as the speedier types wont be coming back to him

Who knows Camelot might outspeed the lot of them?, we don't know until tomorrows race is done and dusted, at the moment we're only surmising, you're painting your colours to the mast as to the horses breeding more designed for middle distance. Sea The Stars, El Gran Senor, Dancing Brave, Nashwan etc were all speedy enough to win the guineas and then win over 12f. |

The horse is a hold up horse and definitely not Frankel.

The horse looked like he could go the wrong way last year to my eye.
I would say he is very difficult to train and has a lot of temperament issues. Taking the race by the scruff of the neck would be absolutely the last thing that Joseph should do. I assume that Magnier is the majority owner in them all, or nearly them all. |

They need the run in "prep" races.
Aidan would never have a horse short of work for its "target". He has the best facilities that you could ever wish to hope for. If he could not get them fit at home he should be training in a circus. |

i'd like to see Camelot win tomorrow tbh because imo he the only horse in the field with the potential to be very special,
it's a poor Guineas though,isn't it?on paper at least,or is it just me who thinks that? if the horse is good enough then so will joseph,its as simple as that,imo |

It might turn out to be a poor guineas but there are a number of potentially very good horses in it.
Hopefully the ground will be far too soft for them to show their potential tomorrow as the soft ground will make the rest of the card very interesting from a punting point of view. |

FWIW, I've done pretty well down the years backing French horses in English group one races, Makfi fresh in the memory although it was just a secondary bet to my main bet, the 3 french horses contesting tomorrow finshed 123 in the Prix Djebel, Abtaal finishing runner up, but had a comprehensive win over French Fifteen as a 2yo, its not wise to read too much into 2yo old form I know but I've just got a sneaky feeling for Abtaal with the arrogant one on board if Camelot isn't the horse he looked last year. |

I am not saying it is fair game, but it happens very regularly as you know.
There are numerous cases where they should have had horses banned etc for the performances that they put in on the racecourse, but I have no interest in reopening a debate like this as it id off topic and nothing is done anyway. |

I think they have at least as good a form as the English horses. The ground makes it very difficult at the moment, but the French top 2 are proven on it in top company.

Bassanio I was just ramming home home my point if O'Brien wants them fit he'll have them fit if he doesn't he can do what he likes.
We'll leave at that as we're almost in agreement. onthesnaff isn't that statement from O'Brien just typical, more questions than answers?, exactly the way they like it, if you're a member of the public you can go jump in the ocean for all they care!. |

i would not be surprised to see camelot run a nice race staying on at the end to set him up for the derby,if he wins he is a nijinsky but i do not think so.

Pride comes before a fall, but on the face of it I didn't think he would won myself he ticked all the won't boxes, however I wouldn't lay him, Mike Dillon has a habit of proving me wrong and he kind of put his rep on the line going 11/8 when there was plenty of 2/1. When I was serious about this game I always liked lads compiling.
