not a bad card .., i like the look of six stone ned 4.55, n.meades horse has good placed form in bumpers and if he can jump fto over hurdles then must go close.
5.25 distant memories,.. ran down the field at the festival and stables form is a worry but no doubt has everychance to get of the mark

d.weld likes this one..and was fancied in a better race at punchestown but was pulled out co,s of the ground..4th to festival 3rd pique sous is solid form and i,ll be having a decent bet on this one...good luck all

Good morning,Thought there was very little between six stone ned and celestial Prospect on a line through Saint Gervais/Primroseandblue.Slightly favour C.P to come out on top as might have more scope for improvement.
The more times i look at Passage Vendomes Tramore run,i can,t believe how he managed to lose that race.Did everything there for me,travelled and showed a turn of foot.Think he will be ridden a lot more promiently today and might get compo for Tramore. Six stone is almost an ew price,hard to see him out of the places.gl. |

I dont know if one or two of you remember a thread a few weeks ago where i tipped up any bets for a race in Navan. The general consensus was that the horse wasn't exactly killed trying to win the race and that a future engagement looked to be the plan. Well i wonder is today said plan?
Won the same handicap chase last year off a 2lb lower mark and seemed to have a bit in hand at the finish that day. Ground conditions today v similar to last year so no excuse on that front. Ran in a 2.5m hurdle lto when travelled well at the front of the field but seemingly didn't get home under hands and heels ride. In my view a prep for today. Stable in cracking form and field no stronger than last year, with runner up from the corresponding race actually worse off at the weights (but shorter in market) Worth a poke at 12s imo and if no show today then perhaps horse is just no good! By the way Pa i agree re passage vendome, surely jockey error lto and ive a feeling he has been given the chance today to make up for that error by keeping the ride despite Ruby being at the meeting. |

2 fallers in the last and Thebigladjimmy was shut off abit, by the fav coming across, and clipped heels and fell giving his rider a heavy fall also, very unfortunate as the jockey had done so well with jimmy who was trying to run away with him..........
